Morning Currently Kuro's standing in front of Tsubasa High's school gate. 'So, I will be studying here for a while huh?' Kuro thought to himself. Due to certain circumstance in his part-time job, he had to stay in Nikawa for a while. 'Well, there's no point idling around here. Let get moving then.' Kuro started walking into his new school.
'Alright, let look at the Top to do list.' He pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and on the top of it, written in red and bold 'FIRST GET SOME FRIENDS!!!'. '....right' Kuro sighed. Even though he wrote this himself, it still pained him to read it. Kuro didn't have many friends back in the old school and there's only a real few amount of people he can call "a close friend". If someone asks for the reason of this, he can only grit his teeth and answer "me". He is bad with interacting with people, if he doesn't get too silent, he just talks too much. In any case, he continued his way to the school building. After changing his shoes at the locker, he took a quick look at the bulletin board, his class is 1-?. The class began like any normal class, the teacher instructed him to introduce himself. "Nice to meet ya, my name is Kuroi Kurosu. Hope we can get along." he said with his usual smile pn his face.
After School *sigh* It seemed that he wasn't able to make any new friend yet for today. 'Maybe I should take a walk around the school.'

"Throat... Hurts... Body... Hurts..." It was not Rise's lucky day. When she woke up, Chips - the giant-ass dog she's taking care of for a friend - had managed to dig up half the garden. She groaned lightly at this. Next, she realized she had a sore throat. It didn't go away all day, but due to having a test that day, she refused to NOT show up at school. Finally, during P.E (which is among her worst subjects), she had ended up half-dead from the soccer. "Seriously... Stupid P.E..." she mumbled to herself as she turned around a corner and noticed a guy in the distance. "Not in a wheelchair? Not interesting. Not Akinobu-san? Not interesting." she mumbled quietly and began coughing lightly. "Urgh... Stupid throat, stop hurting..." she mumbled to herself and vent to a nearby vending machine to grab a can of tea. "...Maybe I should head to the infirmary... Hm?" she noticed the guy from earlier walking towards her. "Not someone I know... I think I'll pretend not to..." her thoughts were cut short as she began coughing lightly. "...Infirmary, here I come..." she dropped her head in defeat.

'I said that I would try to make a new friend and I think it should start with a conversation but...what should I talk about?' Kuro thought as he walked around. This was his second time going around the school already and he still hadn't talked to anyone yet. *sigh* and that should make the thirteenth time he sigh since the morning. 'Making friend sure is hard.' *cough* "Hm?" Kuro turned his face into the direction he heard the voice. There's someone there near the vending machine and it looked like she was not feeling well. 'Should I help her or should I not? I don't want to be seen as nosy but then again I'm usually minding too much about this stuff.' he stood still, hesitating whether or not he should go and offer her a help. *cough* *cough* It would seem that having the drink didn't really help her out. "Um, are you alright? If you don't mind, I can accompany you to the nurse office." he just stop thinking about thing if there's anything he learn so far by watching other people talk, it's that you shouldn't think about too many thing before you talk, that would make your conversation feel a bit unnatural.
(Sorry for the SUPER late(and short) reply. I will be busy until 30th March and I will make a thread stating that later.)

(It's fine. School/work comes first, so don't stress it. Sorry for MY short reply; I haven't eaten breakfast and my stomach isn't my friend right now so I apologize if I seem rather short today!)
"...You're not in a wheelchair so it's not like I care..." she mumbled to herself but felt faint from the soccer and fell down on the floor. "...Fine... Thanks... I think..." she mumbled and put her arm around his neck and began walking down the familiar corridors towards the nurse's office. "...My name's Hiraga Rise. Just call me Rise. And you are?" she asked as she drank a little of the tea with her free hand. (...) "Kuro, huh... Nice meeting you, I think..." she said as she drank some tea, but due to drinking too fast, she coughed a little. "...I hate soccer... And P.E... So very, very much..." she said to no one in particular. "...I hope that stupid idiot comes back and grabs his dog before it digs up the garden yet again..." she kept muttering.

Kuro heard her mumbling something but couldn't hear it clearly. Then suddenly she fell down to the floor. “Ah! Are you alright?” he asked worriedly. “Here, let me help you.” Kuro said as he knelt down and help her to stand up.
They began walking down the corridors to the nurse’s office and after a moment of silence the girl finally said something. "My name's Hiraga Rise. Just call me Rise. And you are?"
“Ah, sorry that was rude of me. My name is Kuroi Kurosu but everyone just call me Kuro. Nice to meet you Rise-san.” Kuro replied with a cheerful tone. "Kuro, huh... Nice meeting you, I think..." she said as she drank some tea, but due to drinking too fast, she coughed a little.
"...I hate soccer... And P.E... So very, very much...I hope that stupid idiot comes back and grabs his dog before it digs up the garden yet again..." she seemed to be muttering something. "Well, I can understand why you hate P.E.. I mean, I was also bad at it back when I was young and it's surely not fun. But you know Rise-san, even if you don't like it, it can help you a lot so don't think too bad of it. I'm sure there will be many moment in your life when you will need it...I hope that you aren't bored by that." he added. After more walking, Kuro stopped at a junction. “…I think the nurse’s office is on the right, isn't it?” he wasn't so sure.
(…)
“Ah, I see. Thank you Rise-san. It’s my first day here so I’m still not so familiar with the place yet.” he said as he turned and continued to walk toward the nurse’s office. He could see it already. “By the way, what class are you in, Rise-san?” he asked. (…)
“Huh, then that would make you my senpai. Then it might be better to call you Rise-senpai then...oh, we’re here.” Kuro opened the nurse’s office’s door and brought Rise to the bed and left the rest to the teacher before finding a seat for himself. After thinking for a while he decided to ask "Rise-senpai. You don't need to answer if you don't want to but I'm just curious, what is it that you were talking about earlier? You know, that dog thing."

(Sorry about the delay. Been extremely tired the last few days. The only reason I replied in the class 4-B thread was due to having written down 3 possible scenarios in a word document, copied and pasted one of them into the thread and then altered it to work... I was fairly tired at that time, I might add).
"I think the nurse's office is on the right, isn't it?" he asked. He was clearly not so sure. Rise sighed lightly. "No, it's down the hallway, then the first to the left, then down THAT hallway, then the first to the right," "Ah, I see. Thank you Rise-san. It's my first day here so I'm still not familiar with the place yet," as he turned and continued to walk to the nurse's office. "We've all been children at first," she muttered as she took out her cellphone. One quick glance on it made her groan and put it away again. She had gotten a text from her parents; Chips had been digging out half the backyard again. "I am going to MURDER that owner once I see him..." she mumbled to herself. While she didn't mind dogs, Chips had proven a challenge far above her abilities. It was quite... Irritating, to say the least. "By the way, what class are you in, Rise-san?" he asked out of the blue. "3-A," she said bored. She had hoped for 3-B where Kasumi - her best friend - was, but no such luck sadly. "Huh, then that would make you my senpai. Then it might be better to call you Rise-senpai then... Oh, we're here," he said as he opened the nurse's office door and brought Rise to the bed. She thanked him and put her head against the pillow as he sat down on a chair nearby. "Rise-senpai," he said and looked at her. She turned her head towards him and raised her eyebrow lightly. "Yes?" she asked. "You don't need to answer if you don't want to but I'm just curious, what is it that you were talking about earlier? You know, that dog thing," he asked. "The best friend of a friend of mines has gone... Missing, put mildly," she gritted her teeth irritated as she remembered Sachiyo's stupid smiling face. (...) "Simply put, he showed up at my place one day and said "Hey Rise! I'm going for a trip for a year or so abroad, hey! You mind looking after Chips for me, hey? Thanks a bunch! See ya!" before handing me the leash to that giant hairball known as a dog," she let out an irritated sigh. "...It's not like I had any options, either. My parents loves dogs and I tagged along when he bought him, sure, but... Honestly? That dog has dug up half my damn backyard!" she groaned lightly at the memory. While she didn't really care much about gardening, she had a lot of beautiful flowers that she had planted last year that was now spread all over. "Once that smiling son of a bitch comes back I'm giving him a fiver across the face before strangling him myself," she mumbled irritated with a dark aura emitting from her. (...) "Anyway, that's what it's all about... Oh and by the way?" she looked Kuro straight in the eyes. "If you refer to me as 'senpai' again, I'm punching YOU in the face. I'm Rise. I'm no-one's senpai," she said as her cellphone rang. Surprised, she took it out and noticed it being Kasumi. "Rise speaking," she said. The other end of the line was dead, however, so she hung up again. "...Well that was weird," she shrugged. As she did, the nurse came in. "Oh my, why are you here Hiraga-san? And you are, um...?" the nurse said and looked at Kuro. "Ah, I'm just here because I'm exhausted. I just felt like resting for an hour or so. As for this guy..." she turned to Kuro and nudged him. "Hey, hurry up and introduce yourself! And whatever you do... Do NOT take any medicine she gives you unless you know what it is. Last I heard, a friend of mine ended up unconscious for three days after testing one of her new 'medicines'..." she shuddered lightly.

"The best friend of a friend of mines has gone... Missing, put mildly," she gritted her teeth irritated. "Oh, I see." he replied. The situation was depressing. If it's Saito, he would probably be able to cheer her up but he isn't Saito so he doesn't say anything. "Simply put, he showed up at my place one day and said "Hey Rise! I'm going for a trip for a year or so abroad, hey! You mind looking after Chips for me, hey? Thanks a bunch! See ya!" before handing me the leash to that giant hairball known as a dog," she let out an irritated sigh. "...It's not like I had any options, either. "Once that smiling son of a bitch comes back I'm giving him a fiver across the face before strangling him myself," she mumbled irritated with a dark aura emitting from her.
"Ha ha" Kuro had a wry smile on his face. 'Well, at least the situation isn't as bad as I thought.' the atmosphere felt a bit lighter. "Well, I think you should listen to what he have to say first though." Kuro mumbled quietly. "Anyway, that's what it's all about... Oh and by the way?" she looked Kuro straight in the eyes.
"If you refer to me as 'senpai' again, I'm punching YOU in the face. I'm Rise. I'm no-one's senpai," she said as her cellphone rang.
"...I will be sure to remember that." he said. As of what he remembered was 'Don't make this girl mad, ever.' But he changed his mind later, this kind of girl is a lot easier to deal with than the 'silent anger' type. Then the nurse came in.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Kuroi Kurosu. Please take of me." he lowered his head a little. "I've never met you before, have I?" the nurse asked. "No, it's my first day here." he replied. "Oh, did you get your medicine yet? Every students got one here." she brought out a bottle full of capsules. "Ah, I already got one of them thank you." his body shook lightly. That was a lie, there's no medicine or vaccine that the student have to take. Then suddenly he felt a vibrator in his pocket, there's a message. 'We got a new information about that cult. We'll be sending you to investigate it soon. They seem to be up to something. We'll talk about it later when you come back. - Masatoke' 'Up to something, huh?' lately there's rumor about a strange cult in Nikawa and as everyone at his place know, their boss hates cult. Well, to be accurate there's only one cult that he hates but he's willing to send his employees to investigate about any cults in the country to find clues about this cult. 'May be I should head back early today.' he glanced toward Rise. 'Nah, I think I can wait until she get better. Not like it's ever been useful anyway.' "By the way Rise-san has you heard any strange rumor lately?" he decided to gather some information anyway.

(OoC: I apologize in advance for typos/grammar errors. It's late, I'm tired and my... 'Girlfriend' is harassing me with texts. Don't even ask!)
"...Define 'strange rumor'. When you've lived for as long as I--- I mean, as long in Nikawa as I have! you hear plenty of rumors," she said with a bored expression. "Strangest rumor I've heard? The Future is Dark. Apparently, whoever got that message would end up in a coma-like state and it was uncertain if that one would ever wake up again. Some did, others... Didn't. The cause haven't been found, last I hear," she shrugged it off as an everyday thing. "Truth to be told, I'm not the most... Rumor loving person. I have a friend who's more... Interested in those things, but... Huh?" as she said that, a loud 'thud' was heard in the corridor. Worried, she got out of bed and dragged Kuro with her and saw a guy in his early 20s lying passed out on the floor. "...God DAMN IT, Akinobu-san!" she let out a loud sigh and then turned back around. "...Ignore him. He's always like this," she sighed and walked back into the infirmary. "The guy lying passed out in the hallway is Furukawa Akinobu, the one I referred to. He's usually in one fight or another. He's actually a first year at the university but his wife can't... Cook. Basically, if she gives you something she's cooked, throw it out the closest window or die trying. Those are your two options," she seemed to shudder at the memory. (...) "...Your face tells me you doubt it... How should I put it... The first time I ate her cooking, I was out cold for two days straight. Yes... It was bad. Very," she shuddered once more at the memory. "...Even Akinobu-san advices against tasting her cooking with anything less than having a death wish. Apparently, when he first tried her cooking, he ended up in a lesser coma... For a month..." she looked visibly scared at the memory, but shook it off. "Look, if you're gonna trash-talk a man's wife, at least do it so that he can't hear it!" Akinobu's voice said as he showed up behind Kuro. "Nice meetin' ya. Name's Furukawa Akinobu. I hate formalities and I'm your senpai before you ask. I'm a first year at Tsubasa University and if you call me any form of honorific, I'm gonna have to break every bone known to man in someone's body. Probably yours, I might add," he laughed and handed Rise a small book. "Tell your father 'thanks' that I was allowed to borrow it. It was quite... Interesting, I might say," he smiled and turned back to Kuro. "If Rise gives you any trouble, just tickle her for a few minutes. Usually works for me. If all else fails, punch her in the face!" he laughed and walked off again. "...Please ignore the last part," she let out a sigh of defeat. (...) "Anyway... Now it's my turn. I have two questions, if you don't mind," she looked at him. "The first, why are you looking for strange rumors? A fan of them? And second... No offense intended but what happened to your face? Is it a scar or a tattoo or... What?" she said, clearly curious.
(OoC: ...Yes, that's a typical day for Akinobu and Rise when they interact. The small book is just a book her father bought about WWII and serves no relevance to the thread. That's more of a 'the more you know' thing.)

"...Define 'strange rumor'. When you've lived for as long as I--- I mean, as long in Nikawa as I have! You hear plenty of rumors," she said with a bored expression.
“Mm, just tell me about the strangest or most well-known one.” he answered and waited for her to reply.
"Strangest rumor I've heard? The Future is Dark. Apparently, whoever got that message would end up in a coma-like state and it was uncertain if that one would ever wake up again. Some did, others... Didn't. The cause hasn’t been found, last I hear," she shrugged it off as an everyday thing.
After hearing that, he compared what he just heard with the information he’s already had but didn't get anything new out of it.
"Truth to be told, I'm not the most... Rumor loving person. I have a friend who's more... Interested in those things, but... Huh?" as she said that, a loud 'thud' was heard in the corridor.
Then he got dragged out to the corridor and saw a man lying down on the floor. Just when Kuro was about to drag him into the infirmary, Rise said “...Ignore him. He's always like this," and walked back into the infirmary. He hesitated for a moment before he decided that Rise should know better than him.
Kuro smiled. He didn't think there is anyone who can cook that bad or at least they should be able to identify what is edible and what isn’t before giving it to someone.
"...Your face tells me you doubt it... How should I put it... The first time I ate her cooking, I was out cold for two days straight. Yes... It was bad. Very," she shuddered once more at the memory.
"...Even Akinobu-san advises against tasting her cooking with anything less than having a death wish. Apparently, when he first tried her cooking, he ended up in a lesser coma... For a month..." she looked visibly scared at the memory, but shook it off.
“…Rise-san. I think maybe you might as well just tell me what is edible here.” he muttered. It’s clear to him that this town (or at least this school) isn't as safe as it looks.
If all else fails, punch her in the face!" he laughed and walked off again before Kuro could even introduce himself.
‘Ah well, I will just introduce myself next time then.’ he sighed and turned back to Rise.
"Anyway... Now it's my turn. I have two questions, if you don't mind," she looked at him.
"The first, why are you looking for strange rumors? A fan of them? And second... No offense intended but what happened to your face? Is it a scar or a tattoo or... What?" she said, clearly curious.
“How do I put it? While I’m also a little bit interested in rumors, I usually don’t go looking for them but someone I know is very very interested in rumor especially about cult or supernatural phenomenon. And I’m told to help him gather as many rumor as I can.” he left the part about how that person was actually his employer.
“And for the second question. This…” he pointed at his left eye. “…is a scar I got for prying too much for a certain rumor.” he said that like that’s a normal occurrence that can happen to anyone and it’s true, at least for people around him.
“Fortunately my left eye is still not completely blind but the left side my field of vision is blurred. I don’t know whether that’s normal or not but surely it’s not convenience.” he sighed.
"How are you feeling now Rise-san?" he asked. In his point of view, Rise seemed to be better than when he met her but he should check just in case.
