[off character]
For those who don't know about this story, we were about to complete one of Chou's social links in the old forum, but the story was lost. Meh. So we're doing a flashback topic to continue it. I'll try to sum up everything that's going on for those who are interested in reading:
Chouko's old friend Arashi , singer and one of the old leaders of the 'pack' is probably very probably dead. He called Chou from his home a certain night while she was at the Furukawa's house telling her that there was a clone of him trying to kill him. The members have found his house's bathroom in a bloody mess, and no sights of the body until now. Strangely enough, the copycat is doing the schedule that the original Arashi had planned out for tonight and headed almost absent mindedly to a local nightclub called 'The Magic Cube'. Chou and her old gang decided to join forces once more and go after the murderer.
Together with Akinobu and Chihiro they managed to dodge the local security and entered the vip area.
[/off character]
***************
The mass of clients boomed around them in loud conversation, numbed by the loud music. The floor had patterns of squares that changed their colors as people stepped on them, barely delineating the contours of their lower bodies. A fan of blue and red laser lights occasionally danced among the fog, wrapping the dance floor.
Chou, Akira, Aki and Chihiro scouted around the vip area for Fake Arashi. "Don't move towards the stage for now. Check the bathrooms and bar first." Chou said. One video showed someone who has certainly the silver haired guitarist going to this place, his instrument of work on his back. He showed no hesitation about going into the club, much to everyone's confusion. Just what is he thinking... Anyway, he was either dangerous and confident about what he was doing, or he was a utter murderous fool.
Chou was more prone to accept the first as true. She would risk her companions by thinking otherwise.
"We can access the staff area through that door."- Chou begun explaining to Akinobu and Chihiro, pulling her hood over her hair and pointing with her chin the door behind the lit up stage area, just a few meters away. "But there are cameras covering that. So, we are pulling short a distraction." - She gave a glance at Akira, who answered with a slight nod. "We' re taking the lights out. It's gonna last a few seconds. When this place goes dark rush to that door as quickly as you can. Got it?" Chouko put her hand inside of the tennis club bag she was carrying around as he said that, searching for something. (...) "Stick close and be ready for whatever is in there."

(OoC: ...Yeah, what she said. Also, something that wasn't mentioned: Akinobu is currently under G.O.D status. It's a do-or-die poison that stands for "God Or Devil". Basically, it can EITHER kill him OR it can enhance his physical limits for a short time. Or, if he's (un)lucky, neither one happens. Due to this, he might seem weaker than normal or stronger than normal at complete random. Both Akinobu and Chihiro are currently in Turtle Stance - a Furukawa skill that basically tightens their muscles to the point they don't get hurt by... Anything.)
Akinobu pulled down his cap and nodded, then turned to Chihiro, who did a quick nod as well. As the distraction went off, Akinobu and Chihiro quickly dashed past it all, keeping a close eye on Chouko to make sure she kept up with them. "Damn this place is huge... Huh?" he stopped in the middle of a step and looked around. "What's wrong, Akinobu-dono?" Chihiro asked. Akinobu remained silent for a short bit and then turned back to her. "Sorry, thought I heard something... Let's get moving," he said and looked at Chihiro, who merely nodded. "Chouko," he turned his attention to her. "I'll enter first - you guys come in afterwards, alright?" he said with a stern expression on his face. (...) He quickly opened the door to the staff area - who the hell forgets to lock those things? - only to find it empty. "...This is way too easy," he mumbled to himself. He quickly waved to gesture that Chihiro and the others could enter. The area was rather large, so the most sane option would be splitting up. Then again, with a murderous crazy S.O.B out to most likely murder them - AND can change spiritual powers* as she or he pleases - that was also the dumbest idea one could have thought about. "It's your call, Chou," he said and looked at her. (...) "...You guys hear that?" he asked and looked around. He was sure he heard something that sounded like footsteps but he couldn't locate the exact source. Just as he was about to comment on the footsteps, something else caught his attention - a horrible stench. Like a dead body. "Damn it... Something's wrong here... What?" he noticed a half-open door near him. He carefully opened it and peaked inside - while it initially seemed empty, the smell that came from in there proved otherwise. He quickly stepped away, took a deep breath, then went into the room - this time holding his breath. It didn't take long for him to locate the source of the stench - a body with the head crushed. "...Guess whoever the hell murdered your buddy isn't alone..." Akinobu said without turning around. "...What do you mean?" Chihiro asked but Akinobu ignored her. Instead, he leaned down and checked for some form of ID. Luckily, he did find some ID - a staff ID, to be exact. "So, I have three questions. First, who the hell murders a staff without anyone noticing? Two, who the hell did it? And three, why not dispose of the body?" he said and put away the ID in his pocket. While it might seem useless, he figured it'd be better to be safe rather than sorry.
(OoC: *On the old Persona Heaven, the one who killed Arashi did so basically by cutting his soul in half - and disturbing the spiritual energy around Nikawa. As a result, 'zombies' (basically people who couldn't control the spiritual outburst) started appearing all over town. Akinobu and two of his cousins managed to deal with it, but it's a short time solution.)

"I'll enter first - you guys come in afterwards, alright?" he said with a stern expression on his face. "...Alright." She said after a small pause with a decided nod. She pulled her cellphone out, pressed the quick-dial button and cancelled the call almost at the same second. ------- "It's the sign." A woman glanced at her cell phone. "Get to it."A man nodded quietly at her side and jammed a copper plug with a large battery attached to it to a nearby power cable, his hands covered by a extremely thick rubber glove. As the objects made contact, the meter on the battery's shell went nuts. -------- The whole place went dark almost instantly. They hurriedly went to the door, which was already opened. "...This is way too easy," Aki mumbled to himself. His frown at it was barely visible, and Chou mimicked his expression. "It's your call, Chou," he said and looked at her. She nodded quickly. "That guy is taunting us." Chouko thought behind a snarl. "Everyone, stay back to back, no one goes anywhere alone." she said with a slightly edginess to her voice "Search the rooms." The lights blinked back to life a second after that. They found a storeroom, with food, lamps and most of the replaceable stuff used in that place. Empty. They moved to the next, a small waiting room, still unperturbed. The emptyness of the place was making the atmosphere more and more eerie by the second. But then, there was the unmistakable sound of steps moving. "...You guys hear that?" Aki asked and looked around. They couldn't locate the exact source, since the silence made the sound echo on the walls around them. Then something else caught his attention - a horrible stench. It smelled like... "Damn it... Something's wrong here... What?" Aki noticed a half-open door near him. He carefully opened it and peaked inside - while it initially seemed empty, the smell that came from in there proved otherwise. It didn't take long for them to find the source. "...Shit." Akira said in a low voice. And it wasn't because they were inside of a bathroom. A body with the head crushed was inside of one of the cabins. A trail of blood became was visible next to it. It smeared the floor around the body, as if it were dragged briefly. A large, painfully red line. "..." Chou lifted one hand to her temples. "He's a staff member." she said while examining his clothes in a collected voice, but her voice sounded slightly hoarse by the end. " ... Someone who could leave the door open without breaking it as well." Chou said in a very matter-of-fact way, facing the mirror at Aki's back. Chihiro looked around the room, then followed Akira outside as he went to investigate the room directly in from of them. "Another staff member or people related to them. As for the body..." she glanced at it. "There are three posibilities. They either don't care if it's found, didn't have the time to dispose of it or... They still needed it for so- AKI!" She had saw the most improbable thing in the mirror that made her jump around towards Aki. Alarmed by her voice, Akira and Chihiro hurriedly entered inside of the bathroom again. "What is- HOLY. CRAP." The headless body had just moved and was now trying to strangulate Aki, his fingers centimeters away from his neck. He kicked him back to the cabin like the piece of meat he was, and there was the cracking sound of a bone being broken. The dead man got back up wriggling and started tumbling towards them again, his throat dripping blood and his column pending in a weird angle. "Hey, look arou- Oh, wait." As Aki got himself up quite quickly, getting ready to deal the finishing blow... "EAT."*CHOP* *arm falls over the floor.*"...""..." "...""THIS."*CHOP* *spine finishes breaking* *KICKS*
The zombie staff member fell to the floor, this time permanently immobile. "...Guess you can't do that too huh." Akira held a fire axe with both hands. "Phew. That was close. You alright man?" He asked with a small nervous chuckle. Chouko glanced at Aki with a look that said "I don't think he realizes that you didn't need help." Akira seemed to be happy with himself, so she didn't comment on it. Chihiro hurriedly went to Aki's side and seemed to apologize for not staying by his side as his bodyguard. Talk about adoration. "Nice axe." Chou said to Akira instead, as Aki calmed Chihiro behind her. "Yeah, figured we might need somethin' like this after I saw that." he looked at the corpse in a meaningful way. "...The people in here are as good as dead if we don't do something quickly. And I'm not talking figuratively." Aki said, his tone dead serious. "Let's hurry." Chouko nodded. She plucked her phone out of the bag again as she followed them through a corridor. "...Here's Ergo. Things are far worse than expected. Keep an eye on everyone and don't let anyone behaving strangely in or out. We have..." she glanced at Aki's back, unsure "...I don't believe I'm actually saying this, but we might have a zombie hazard going on."
Somewhere outside, many of the members exchanged dumbfounded glances before turning their attention back to their computers or cellphones. "I want people placed inside of the entrance to the staff area and around all exits. If something strange happens or I give a short call again I want you guys to get everyone out of this place safely and quickly." she said. She had followed them to other rooms around there and, except for the foul smell that was getting stronger, there was no other noticeable change. Finally, they got to the very end of the corridor and found a service elevator. Aki used the staff card, and it obediently opened it's door. The horrible smell was even stronger, coming up from the elevator shaft. They entered quietly. And how are you guys getting out if something happens? Someone on the line asked. "We... Well, we will manage it somehow. We always do." ... "...Can I count on you guys?"... The series of vibrations coming from each message arriving to her muted phone counted as a ' yes'. "Thanks. We'll be having a real dance party after we're over with this, okay? Just like old times." she smiled very briefly despite herself. "I've to go. Keep an eye on each other's back."She turned her phone off with a sigh. "... So, about the party-.""Not now." she said bluntly Akira only chuckled He glanced at the elevator's pannel. Staff area. Vip floor Ground floor Studio"Studio" ... Was that in the underground? Well, there was only one place left to go. "You guys ready?" he glanced behind at Aki and Chihiro, then pressed the Studio button. After a thud the elevator went down slowly. Everyone instinctively assumed fighting stances, already expecting the worse. Chouko breathed in, assuming an turtle stance of her own, her right hand grabbing at something inside of her bag. A loud, familiar chord grew louder and louder as they went deeper. Then, after the longest seconds of Chou's life, the door finally opened. Eyes devoid of life turned their attention to us, hungrily taking in our features. There was also a man with them too. He turned around alarmed by the sound of the elevator opening, his hand tightly clutching a notebook. "Ding! Zombie Department!"
That strange rush is absorbing my thoughts again... "CHARGE!!"The figure of Arashi... No, his carbon copy behind the thick glass turned around. He glanced a second at us then flashed a awkward smile that reminded me so much of the original's one that it made my hearth ache. Then, as we walked out, he begun playing on cue. The man with the notebook ran to the back of the room, hiding behind a table while trembling, his mouth mumbling a silent prayer. That idiot was indeed waiting for us all this time. Text wall! Text wall! Haaah it has been a while...~ And I particularly enjoyed writing this one. So, lemme put here some important stuff since this post was so long and I wanna keep this story flowing within a certain path. Everyone found Arashi inside of the studio, yes. He's behind this huge sound-proof wall playing guitar, but the music can be heard outside as well because of the speakers placed on the ceiling. The zombies seem to be kept away from reaching him (yes, they are uselessly trying to attack fake Arashi as well) by some sort of ward painted on the floor. They can't cross through it no matter what they do. The ward is made of blood by the way. I will detail it better later, or when you want me to. If possible, I would like to keep everyone from crossing them for now. Thank you so much~ And here's the song that Arashi is playing. With lyrics.Oh, and do you remind when I said the things that Chou had put inside her bag? Do you remember when I mentioned hair sprays and a zippo (lighter)? Huzzah for makeshift aerosol flamethrower. SPECIALLY when you use those brands with lots of aerosol that go burning like, a meter longer because of the amount of flammable stuff. Funny thing is that they're cheap because those brands generally are also the ones that ruin your hair. Never imagined I would end up conveniently having to fight zombies when I brought those along, but all the merrier. Don't try this at home kids! (attention for those who are only reading but not participating! the area below has spoilers! Go to the next post!)Oh, and that man? He's absolutely not there at random. He's the one behind the zombies in this place by the way, they'll work better while he's awake. He's gonna try to fake that he's a victim at the start of it all, but if you get too close he's gonna say some weird words that will send anyone trying to get close to him flying back as if pushed by an invisible force. He's not that strong however, and after a few uses of that he'll get real tired and dizzy. Fell free to do whatever to him after that. The zombies are foes you should be careful about though. Don't let them grapple anyone, their limbs are very strong.

Akinobu stumbled backwards but the effect of G.O.D was starting to take effect. He felt sluggish so the zombie managed to overpower him rather easily. "Son of a bitch..." he mumbled irritated and tried breaking free but his body didn't listen to him. "No way in Hell am I dying this easily... That'd leave Mitsune without someone to cook for her!" he said irritated and grabbed the arms and managed to slow them for long enough for Akira to come and cut off the arms from the zombie. Akinobu panted out a weak "Thanks" while stumbling backwards a few steps. "...Guess the Devil is against me..." he mumbled weakly. Chihiro dashed up to him and bowed her head. "I-I'm sorry, Akinobu-dono! I'm your bodyguard and yet, I left you!" she said with tears welling up in her eyes. Akinobu smiled lightly and hugged her. "Damn it, Chi-chan, I keep telling you, you're not my bodyguard. I screwed up, it wasn't your fault," he said and stroked her hair gently. She didn't say anything and merely nodded instead. Akinobu briefly kissed her before turning his attention back towards the others. "...The people in here are as good as dead if we don't do something quickly. And I'm not talking figuratively," he said with a dead serious tone. "Let's hurry," he continued and hurried out of the bathroom.
They kept walking through the rest of the area and other than the stench almost causing Akinobu to puke, there was nothing worth mentioning. "...A locked door... No wait, an elevator? Good thing I brought this," he said and wiped away some blood from the staff ID and used it to open the door. Luckily, the elevator door slid open without a problem and they quickly entered. Akinobu entered last and turned around before doing so. "...What the hell...?" he spotted something - a shadow? - in the distance but it disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. "...Was I imagining things?" he mumbled and shrugged before hurrying on towards the others. "..."
"Thanks. We'll be having a real dance party after we're over with this, okay? Just like old times." Chouko said. Akinobu stopped in the middle of a step. Dance... Party? Oh no. There was NO WAY he'd end up doing that. He hated dancing! In fact, he had no intention of dancing even more than once during his wedding in a few months! And even then, it was just because he had no other option! "You're kidding about the dance party, right, Chou?" he asked nervously. She turned around and looked at him with a surprised face, which confirmed that she wasn't joking. "...Aho*," he muttered to himself.
"You guys ready?" Akira asked once Akinobu had entered the elevator together with the others. Both he and Chihiro nodded quickly, which had him press the button that said 'studio'. A few moments later, they were in the studio floor. Two things caught his attention: the stench and a giant ward made out of blood on the floor. "Blood... Good thing the smiling bastard's not here," Akinobu said, which had Chihiro chuckle. As they exited the elevator, two zombies instantly came up towards them. "Chi-chan, four-nine" he said without looking at her. She nodded and pulled out her katana. She quickly cut the closest zombie's head off, then the arms. Once she realized it was still moving, she cut off the legs as well. "Weird... I figured that cutting off the head would be enough... By the way, behind you, Chouko-san," she said and glanced at Chouko over her shoulder. Meanwhile, Akinobu literally kicked the head off a nearby zombie and tried to leap across the ward, only to be grabbed by a zombie mid-air. "Son of a BITCH!" he said irritated and cut off the zombie's arms. Quickly afterwards, he cut off the head and forced open the zombie's fingers from his leg and stood back up. "It's in those cases I really want to go all out but that's kinda impossible at the moment..." he said and put his back against Chihiro's. "Chihiro, you ready?" he said. "Yes," she replied. "Furukawa Yin-Yang technique: Bladed Warriors" they said in unison and began dashing, seemingly doing quick draws* at all times in order to cut off the arms of as many zombies as possible. "If I can't kill them, I'll at least immobilize them... And I swear, if that son of a bitch coward tries telling us not to kill them as they could be restored to normal, I'll slit his fucking spine out and hit him with it," he thought irritated.
As he thought this, another zombie had grabbed Akira from behind. Chihiro quickly cut down that zombie which had him say "Thanks!" but she ignored him. Instead, like Akinobu, she kicked off the head of a nearby zombie. "It feels like that if we kill one, ten more replaces those," Akinobu said and looked at Chouko, who used a make-shift flamethrower. The stench from it - while bad - was still better than the smell of decomposed bodies. "You know, using a flamethrower indoors is not only stupid, it's probably illegal. But, hell, I'm fairly certain that laws won't apply when you're trying to kill some God damned zombies. All that's missing now is a tank!"** he joked. He looked at the man with the notebook and figured that he should get that person out. However, before he had the chance to head towards him, another zombie tried strangling him from behind. Akinobu managed to break free and threw the zombie over his shoulder into the floor in front of him, then sticking his katana through the zombie's torso, right where the heart was. However, this didn't help much and the zombie slowly began standing up again. Irritated, he leaned down and forced his hand through the zombie's back and ripped out the spine, causing the zombie to finally stay down. "...I always wanted to do this. Another dream come true!" he said joyfully as he used the spine to hit another zombie. "Two dreams for the price of one!"
"It's been a while since I last saw him so happy," Chihiro chuckled. Though she had to admit, it looked rather fun. As she was thinking this, she grabbed a nearby zombie and - like Akinobu - slit out the spine and began hitting a nearby zombie with it. "He's right - this IS fun!" she smiled and hit another zombie.
(OoC: Aho = Moron. When it's olive text, Akinobu and Chihiro speaks in unison. Yin-Yang is a combination technique that Akinobu and Chihiro came up with when training. Quick draws means that you sheath your katana after each attack. You take it out, do a quick strike (while pulling it out), then put it back again. The "all that's missing now is a tank" is a reference to the Left 4 Dead series. Basically, the tank is what it sounds like - a high HP, high damage opponent that's capable of killing you VERY quickly if you screw up.)

They came out of the elevator as a wave of retaliation.
Chihiro and Akinobu took the left side of the room, cutting with blades the creatures that seemed to refuse to die once more. “Weird... I figured that cutting off the head would be enough... By the way, behind you, Chouko-san,” Chouko turned quickly around and barely dodged the zombie who was about to grab her arm. She sprayed it’s torso on fire, and the creature’s jolted back if it had been struck by electricity. Akira took advantage of the opening to aim at his legs ("Son of a BITCH!" they heard Aki’s voice in the background). and successfully cut the back of it’s knees. The zombie wasn’t very happy about it though, and tried grabbing the arm holding the axe. “Back off!” Chou put it on fire again and sent him tumbling back with her boot a couple meters, where Aki skillfully finished the job of transforming it in a meat stump. She took the battlefield contour with Akira shielding her back, trying to get near of the praying man."It feels like that if we kill one, ten more replaces those," Akinobu said and looked at Chouko as he sliced the targets around with his sword, his back glued to Chihiro’s. "You know, using a flamethrower indoors is not only stupid, it's probably illegal. But, hell, I'm fairly certain that laws won't apply when you're trying to kill some God damned zombies. All that's missing now is a tank!" “… Yeah yeah. In just that in my world, Aki, people are used to have this kind of thing as the last resort. Not katanas.” Chou smiled? Glared? It was impossible to know . She took her own washizashi out to slice the creatures in front of her. The weapon didn’t have as much strength as a katana, so she aimed at their tendons instead, her cuts following a familiar pattern. “Akira, give me cover!” “…Got it!” she heard him yelling somewhere behind her.
She begun moving around the battlefield, dealing one hit here and there. A putrid hand tried to grab hold of her hair and was quickly chopped off. By whom? She didn't stop to see. She heard the distinct sound of Aki and Chihiro laughing, so she assumed they were fine and somewhere behind her. After what seemed like a whole minute dodging and aiming her small blade around a group of irritated zombies gathered after her, their bodies missing similarly cut chunks of meat on their legs and arms. Chou turned around and grabbing hold of her mini flamethrower again. Always clean your meat of tendons before cooking it!
*scene cuts to trivia screen* *upbeat, happy music*
*Chou’s chibified version pops in, behind her there is a blackboard saying ‘Hideyoshi Sushi Kitchen Rules’ Rule #1 How to prepare the meat! By Kotaro Hidetoshi*
"Number one rule is for the best tender meat!" *points on blackboard* "Cut the slices towards the muscular fiber direction."* Shows the muscle fibers in a cartoonified human zombie* "When cleaning your meat of tendons do it carefully so you won't rip the area around them in the process. Then, cook it using low heat for best texture until it’s surface is just slightly crispy! Warning!" * whistle noise* "If you pull the tendons out too harshly or in the wrong direction the meat will quickly shred while it cooks!" *makes shocked face* *shows picture of zombie on fire losing it’s arms* What a disaster! But what to do, practice makes perfect! *pops out*
*scene suddenly fades back to the battle again*
Chou laughed nervously as their limbs weakened quickly to the flames, falling apart. Akira went ahead of her and started cutting down the remaining ones. She looked around to see the amount of damage they had done. Aki and Chihiro were doing well on their side. Fake Arashi continued playing his music despite everything happening. The trembling man was still hidden behind the table that was now near her, mumbling. “Hey you. Get out of there veery slowly and keep your hands where I can see them.”
The man winced and stopped mumbling, throwing his arms up. As Chouko said, she got up, one of his hands still clutching his small book. She walked towards him, both of her weapons ready to go at any instant. “Drop it.” She gestured to the notebook. He immediately did so. “How did you get in here?”
He hesitated for a moment, then said very clearly despite his accent.
“Both.”
“Bo-?”
There was the slightest sensation of a push before she briefly saw the ceiling as if it were the floor for about two seconds, flying backwards. For Chou, it felt as if a giant had punched her. In reality it had actually been one of the stereos that left its place on the sides of the room to conveniently strike her. She only stopped when someone collided with her from behind. “CHOU!” Uff!” She heard the soles of the Akira’s boots scraping the floor as he held her just before she was about to hit the wall. His own back collided with it instead. “*coughs* You okay…?!” He looked around. The nervous man now looked frantically around and grabbed one zombie arm on the floor, and then glanced at the large table again. He sweated gallons. “Both!”
The zombie arm on his hand became dust. The black table was hurled across the room towards Chihiro much in the same way Chou was.
The ‘Both’ thing is actually a spell (duh) and of course it does not means what it seems. It basically throws things. Also, for reasons I can’t say right now, he can’t use that on the characters, nor on Aki’s, Chihiro’s and Chou’s weapons.
He doesn't know about the limitation about the weapons of the characters though. If he tries to do that… Uh, he’ll die. Quite horribly might I add. Like, turning into ashes bit by bit just like that zombie arm until death makes the pain stop.

"...Did someone say 'bo--' WHAT THE HELL?!" Akinobu turned around and saw the stereo fly and strike Chouko, as if by the use of invisible strings. "Damn it... What the hell WAS that?!" Akinobu said as a black table was hurled towards Chihiro. "Shit, Chi-chan! Behind you!" he shouted and pushed her out of the way, but it ended up hitting his right arm with a loud bone cracking sound. "...This is less painful than it sounded, for anyone that's curious," he said and looked down at his arm. It was hanging at a weird angle, which had him throw his katana into the air, hit his shoulder twice, then his elbow three times against a nearby wall. Somehow or another, his arm looked perfectly fine again as he grabbed the katana landing near him. "Now come on, you God damn sons of bitches... Shit, Chou! Akira! Get down!" he said as another stereo came flying towards them. He rushed over and managed to drop them both to the floor, only narrowly getting struck by it himself. "If this son of a God damn bitch is the one who abuses spiritual powers for his own gain, I will murder his damn ass," Akinobu cricked his knuckles. As he did, another zombie lunged towards Akira which Akinobu quickly cut down. "That's repayment for saving me earlier - now we're even," he said without looking at Akira.
Chihiro was starting to feel the fatigue of the fight. Normally, she could just knock people unconscious so she was rather unused to prolonged battles. The longer it took, the higher the odds she'd mess up. And besides, Akinobu had shown symptoms of G.O.D earlier. "No... I won't let him die... And I won't die either!" she tightly gripped her katana and watched three zombies coming towards her. "Akinobu-dono... No... Aki-nii*... I apologize for not showing you this technique earlier..." Chihiro thought and shut her eyes. "The Third Furukawa Sin - Lonely Girl**" she said as a dark red aura started surrounding her. "Chi-chan? What are you...?" Akinobu said but was interrupted by two zombies lunging at him. "That's rude, you assholes! I was talking to Chi-chan!" he said and forced them off him. He turned his attention back to Chihiro and saw her slowly walking towards a bunch of zombies, seemingly lifeless. "Hey, what's wrong? Hey! Chi-chan!" he shouted. Chihiro turned around with a faint smile on her face. "...I'm sorry, Akinobu-dono... No... Aki-nii...." she said as a tear started forming in her eye. "Damn it! Chi-chan! Shit!" he pushed away another zombie and quickly cut off a leg of one that tried to attack Chouko from behind.
Chihiro held up the sword in front of her with her eyes closed. The red aura started taking a more physical form, turning into spirals that created large cracks in the ground around her. "I created this technique in order to help him... Yet it was classified as a forbidden technique. Not because I might lose my life, but because I have to use memories... Memories of the one closest to me," she mumbled silently to herself. "...I'll probably forget all about Akinobu-nii but... If I can save him from this mess, it's a small price to pay... Right, Akinobu-nii?" she said as the tear dropped. As she opened her mouth to say something else, Akinobu jumped at her while parrying a blow. "Hey! If you try using a Furukawa Sin, I'd never forgive you! Damn it! You're not my bodyguard! I have never seen you as one and I never will! You've always been Chi-chan to me! We grew up laughing and crying together! Along with Mitsu-chan! She's gone through Hell once already! Do you really plan on making her go through Hell a second time?! Chi-chan!" he shouted over the music. Chihiro smiled gently at him and kissed him briefly. "...I'm sorry, but my resolve is set," she said. Akinobu snapped and punched her with enough force to cause her to stumble a couple of steps. "Gods, stop being so damned selfish woman!" he shouted, causing her to flinch and look surprised at him. "You really think that using a Furukawa Sin is no big deal, that you can just make new memories?! Well, you're wrong! You'd lose all memories of that person - permanently. Even if it was your husband of fifty years, you'd not have a single.damn.memory of him. All pictures and everything else - it'd be gone. If you looked straight at me, you'd see an empty spot! I'm NOT going to let you go through with this!" he shouted as Akira let out a scream.
"Chou!" he shouted. Akinobu and Chihiro turned around and saw Chouko getting overwhelmed by zombies. "...Damn it, we'll finish this discussion some other time! For the time being, I forbid you from using the Furukawa Sins! Is that clear?!" he shouted over his shoulder and dashed towards Chouko instead. Chihiro looked surprised at him, then let out a small smile. "...As I thought. It was the right choice falling for him..." she smiled weakly before hurrying up to the others.
(OoC: Aki-nii was something Chihiro called him when they were children. She still does so, but very rarely. Furukawa Sins are two (now three) forbidden techniques, as they cost memories to activate. It is unclear what Lonely Girl does, but if you go by the name (secret: it won't be mentioned again), it's probably that she uses up her memories of him in order to create a powerful area attack. Like Chihiro said, it's your most precious person you forget - e.g Akinobu would forget about Mitsune. It's also impossible to get new memories - like he said - of that person and it's impossible to reverse the effect.)

... Dammit, it feels like a have a giant bruise on my stomach area now.
As much as her body demanded otherwise, she took air in slowly in search for pain. “You okay…?!” My diaphragm is sore, but I think I haven't broken any bones... No strong smell of blood coming with my breathing... She heard Akira's voice behind her. "I'm fine, just out of... Breath." She said in a hoarse voice. Talking hurts. "Shit, Chou! Akira! Get down!" "AH! *wince*" Akira pulled her down quickly and Chou cursed at the pain caused by the sudden movement. Another stereo crashed nearby. "If this son of a God damn bitch is the one who abuses spiritual powers for his own gain, I will murder his damn ass," Akinobu cracked his knuckles. As he did, another zombie lunged towards Akira which Akinobu quickly cut down.
"That's repayment for saving me earlier - now we're even," he said without looking at Akira, and left running towards Chihiro.
Chou's eyes searched the floor "...My washizashi." She grumbled, looking around. The blade was nowhere nearby, neither her flamethrower. She couldn't move from near the wall without putting Akira at disadvantage. The zombies were swarming all around them now, and they were no doubt aiming at her. Akira could deal with them before, but he was in serious trouble fighting all on his own. She watched him push them away, brandishing his axe around. Joining him with her firsts would probably mean the end of the line
She was suddenly reminded of just how human she was.
"... Damn you all, I'm not done yet!" She pulled herself together and got up in her own two feet again, ignoring the ache coming from her lungs. Think. Think. There must be something you can do. Anything is better than going bare handed against those guys. She dodged one of the creatures almost by reflex.
Her feet stepped on something on the floor that cracked under her weight. She quickly turned her eyes down to what remained of the stereo.
------------
"Shit, what's happening to her?!" Akira turned her neck around to look at Chihiro, who was now emanating a red aura. "Looks serious..." Aki was yelling at her angrily. Some of the zombies seemed to notice the distraction and begun approaching them quickly "Oh no you won't." Chouko hurried to them and slammed them with the stereo's shell, Akira following her shortly. She was surprised to discover that the inside of a stereo hull was completely empty behind the panel. "Woah! Incoming!" Chouko stepped aside, her movement hastily calculated as she parried an enemy and got out of the way of a flying cabinet that was indiscriminately sweeping for targets in a straight line, zombies stuck to one of it's sides. But she wasn't prepared for the chair right behind it all. She barely had time to process that she was going to get hit before bracing herself for the impact.
"Chou!"
BAM.
The chair made contact, but Chou didn't move, her body still in a defensive stance. The chair had smashed against her body with the impact and broke in two, it's parts falling loudly.
Then, she finally moved rubbing her arms "....Yeeeeouch! It worked but still hurts! Huh? Oh, dammit, I cut my arm somewhere." "...What the- when did you learn that?" "Just before you got to Aki's house. Not a pro at this at all... Oh! Thank gosh!" she quickly took something on the floor. "...My washizashi." she lifted the blade adoringly before using her to fight a zombie coming her way. Akira was actually the one who dealt the finishing blown, but she didn't mind. She caught the sound of a sword behind her. "Are you guys alright?" she asked, looking ahead. There were still a bunch of them. Just how many had they fought up to now? "We've got to end this. Our stamina won't last much longer than this." They begun cutting themselves a path forward, Chou occasionally tossing an enemy away instead of hitting with her sword again to give her arms some rest. "We're bringing freaky guy over there down!"
(...)
Each hit of them was countered with either another zombie or flying object. As they got closer, they noticed that the man wasn't actually saying only the 'both' spell. He glanced at objects around and murmured other things while staring at them, his mouth moving too fast to read. In fact, he spent more time doing that than actually throwing things, though when he did it they had to be careful to dodge them at time. Chouko successfully performed another turtle stance against a stool, wincing for a second. "He's running out of ammo." She said in a somewhat happy voice.
The music was barely audible now, as all the stereos were broken. The phony version of Arashi continued playing his guitar on and on, a pair of phones covering his ears. "What's going on here... ?" She missed by a split second the timing of one of her attacks. Chihiro covered the opening for her, taking advantage of an opening that appeared at other angle because of Chou's advance and finished the blow "Is you arm alright, Chouko-San?" She pulled her sword back to it's original position, seeming very tired as well "Yes, just a bit swollen." she frowned "You too don't push your body too much. We'll cover for you as well." "...Yes."

Akinobu took a quick glance around the room as Akira mentioned that their stamina wouldn't hold out much longer. "..." he slowly shut his eyes and took a deep breath. "Four... Eight... Eleven... Fifty... Seventy-four... Thirty-nine..." he began muttering a series of numbers seemingly without any form of reason. Chihiro tilted her head lightly at it, not understanding what he was talking about. "Aki-nii, what are you...?" she began but he held up a hand as if to silence her. "I... Guess he's calculating something?" she said confused and looked at the other two. As she said this, he opened his eyes and said "Sixty-two," before dashing towards the 'mage' as he called him in his mind. He threw another zombie at Akinobu, who grabbed it with his bare hands, spun around on the spot and threw it towards the man, who seemed surprised and was forced to dodge. "I see... So he can't throw the same object twice in a row. That or he needs to be fully focused," Akinobu smirked. That would explain why he hadn't tried throwing some of the things twice in a row - such as what was left of the tables and broken stools around the room. Some of them could still be thrown to inflict damage. As he said this, another stool was thrown at Chouko. "He's running out of ammo," she said in a somewhat happy voice. "Yeah but I don't plan on letting my... Tch!" he clutched his heart and began breathing heavily. "I see... So is today the day I'll die?" he smirked. As he said this, he coughed up some blood. "Oh no... This is among the worst possible timings for G.O.D to take effect," Chihiro said and leaned down next to him, cutting down another stool thrown at them. Akinobu, however, looked like he was happy. Happier than normal in a fight, anyway. "Oh no..." Chihiro said and saw his lifeless eyes locking onto the enemy in front of him. She quickly slapped him across the face, causing him to turn his attention towards her. "Hey! What was that for, Chi-chan?!" he said surprised. "At least you're back to yourself. Your eyes started getting empty again," she explained. "...So, G.O.D is hellbent on killing me, huh..." he chuckled. As he did, however, he suddenly felt a small power surge. "Huh... Guess the Devil lost. Again," he said and took out a small bottle. It had no label and was pure white. He opened it and quickly drank whatever it contained, then shook his head. "Alright, so I should be back into the match... I hope," he said and slapped his face with both hands as another stool flew into his face. The sound of something breaking was heard and one quick glance could tell it was the stool. "Akinobu-dono, was that...?" she asked, which just had him reply "Yep!" with a huge grin. "...Can someone please tell me what he just drank...?" Chouko asked, most likely worried it was some other drug that might kill him. "I just drank an antidote for G.O.D. I had planned on taking it, should I be too close to death from the Devil effect. However, as I felt a power surge, it means that neither scenario happened. I took the antidote in order to remove the rest of it from my body - otherwise, it'd last another thirty minutes or so," he explained. "Now then..." he turned his attention to a zombie that was flying towards him. He dashed towards the person who used it and was about to strike him down, as another zombie came flying and hit him from the side, causing the man to quickly stumble away again. "Damn it, just how often can this bastard USE that damn spell?!" he said annoyed and looked at the immobile zombie at his feet. While he had to admit that the zombies were thinning out, they were STILL quite a problem at the moment, due to them starting to building up fatigue and losing stamina rapidly. "I'm honestly not even sure how much longer we'll survive this onslaught," he said and rammed down another zombie, slitting out the spine and threw it away. He had no time for fun and games, he thought.
(OoC: Akinobu is no longer under G.O.D status but he's exhausted like the others. However, there's less odds he'll die at the moment. Which SHOULD be a relief for them. ...I hope. Also, being a 'gentleman' (read: it's your thread), I decided to let Chouko be the one who starts inflicting damage on the moron who keeps throwing stuff.) (Akinobu's voice somewhere far off): HEY! I'M NO GENTLEMAN! I just dislike punching people without letting a woman do so first! That'd be rude to the ladies present! (Me): ...You see my point? Also, G.O.D only lasts for about an hour and a half. Taking into consideration that they ran there (took about 15 minutes), they've been fighting zombies for nearly an hour (calculating in the time it took to get to that area). Not too shabby. Sorry for short/shitty post; I was tired as hell and had just woken up when I posted it. I might edit it but no promises. Sorry! Also, since this is a flashback thread, you technically shouldn't allow those to count as RP posts. However, me being awesome, I've already thought of a way around this, so it still counts as RP posts. Don't worry about it!)

"I'm honestly not even sure how much longer we'll survive this onslaught," Aki said and rammed down another zombie, slitting out the spine and threw it away. While she had to agree that the odds weren't exactly favorable towards then, she told herself over each new target that they wouldn't get anywhere by stopping now. While her body still stung in pain, her mind seemed to regain some of it's lost focus as she told herself to move forward.
"Chihiro, Aki, deal with the ones behind us." She grasped her black washizashi tightly with both hands. Focus. They are in no better condition and they will need me sharp. "We'll hold the front line for now. " At some point the movements became almost a coordinated, tiring and dangerous dance. One step, aim, slash, rest while Akira at her right was dealing with the next corpse moving towards them, repeat as he rested. The cycle was only interrupted when an object was hurled towards them, forcing the group to break formation. At very rare times Chou would use her turtle stance to shield them all of smaller things so that they wouldn't need to move out of the way, but her fatigue became evident with each. As she warned Akira about her intent, he readied herself to parry a couple blows for her before she readied her body for attacking again.
"Daen both!" the man shouted weakly. One undead was catapulted towards them and they dodged. After it's body slammed against the wall of the room it quickly became ash. Strangely, even though he was doing nothing but staying in place and mumbling, the man seemed to be looking paler and paler. His skin had a thick layer of sweating now gluing his gray t-shirt to his torso, dark bags visible under his eyeballs that weren't there before. "Daen both!" Another corpse. They dodged again, and the man gave a short yelp. "Oh look, he knows two words now." Chou said with mockery Why the sudden change?
Finally, they were in front of him. He looked around, trying to find something to use as weapon, to no avail.
The zombie he threw was the last one.
(...)
"I'm already visualizing the masking tape over your mouth at all times.... Oh, I wonder how we'll interrogate you?"
(...)
The man stepped back, but his body collided at the ward as if there was a invisible wall there. He glanced up only to find Chou's piercing eyes looking down on him with disgust, the dull side of her blade readied.
" 'Both' this, son of a b*tch! "
*HACK*
"UFFF! *cough*" he bent his body down, gasping for air. *HACK* "OUCH!" His head hit the floor and Chou easily forced to keep facing it with her feet "...You wimp! Just how someone like you happens to almost kill us?! Spill it!" "..." He nothing said "FINE. We'll do it your way then! Akira, knock him out!" "Aye aye." Akira walked up to him. "...Hathel both."
The fire axe from Akira's hand left him and stabbed Chou's back, hitting her body armor near her shoulder. She widened eyes in shock, as the excrucianting pain went through her bones, her mouth muted in a scream.
"..."
*...Clang!* Her scabbard felt on the floor as her body made an arch as she slowly began falling as well.
"...FUCK!!"
----
NOBODY. Leaves the room yet. *grins*

(OoC: Leaving the room? WOMAN ARE YOU INSANE? This shit is starting to get FUN!)
"..." "..." "...FUCK!!" "...Well this is bad." "Yeah... I didn't think this would happen... Whoops?" The two of them seemed perfectly calm despite just seeing Chouko getting an axe in her shoulder. "So uh... Someone mind if I start beating the shit out of this guy?" Akinobu said with a cold voice. Chihiro calmly leaned down next to Chouko and put her head in her lap, then looked at the wound. "...Akira-san, can you help me get Chouko-san back on her feet? I want to get her somewhere less... Violent. Like, that corner over there," she said and pointed to a corner at the opposite end of the room. "Now then, you damn son of a bitch..." Akinobu said as the two of them stumbled away with Chouko. Due to the axe still being lodged into the shoulder, the blood wasn't too bad but he could only imagine the damage. He took a quick glance over his shoulder and saw Chihiro applying pressure while Akira looked for something to patch up the blood with - at least for the time being. Sadly, Akinobu - for once - did NOT bring his bandages with him. Which, he had to confess, felt weird.
As he was thinking about this, he saw the axe being pulled out - with great force - from the wound and lunged towards him. "Akinobu-dono, look out!" Chihiro shouted. As she did, he pulled up his left arm as the axe came flying towards him. For some reason, it broke the instance it struck. "W-What the...?" Akira said with a clearly shocked - and surprised - face. "Furukawa's third attack... Turtle Stance... Along with arm guards... Sure as hell helps..." he panted. The impact had been enough to stumble backwards and panted heavily. He looked down at his sweater and noticed the large hole in it. "Son of a bitch... This was my favorite sweater!" he said annoyed and took it off. His arms was covered by - previously unseen - arm guards made of some form of metal. "Before you ask why he didn't protect you with them earlier, it's because he didn't notice the axe until it was too late," Chihiro said while applying pressure to Chouko's wound, trying to make her stay awake without bleeding halfway to death. "You mean to say he wore arm guards this entire time without telling anyone?!" Akira said and looked at her. Chihiro merely shrugged without answering. Akinobu decided to drop the arm guards - each one landed with a loud 'thud' and created small cracks in the floor. "Whew... Sure as hell is easier when you don't have to carry thirty extra kilos on your arms!" he laughed and turned his attention back to the other guy. The final object in the room - another stool - was lunged towards him. He turned around and grabbed it in midair and broke it. "Now them..." he walked up to the one who had been throwing all those things and threw a punch at his face with enough force to break his bone. The man stumbled backwards with a panicked expression. Irritated, Akinobu grabbed his collar and brought him back to the others. "Chou, you wanna kick this guy halfway to Hell and back or should I?" he asked and dropped the man, who clearly couldn't get out a single word from the amount of obvious pain (and the shock of having his nose broken) so instead, he stumbled backwards. Chihiro, meanwhile, had found some not-too-dirty clothes and wrapped around Chouko's shoulder in order to dampen the blood. Akinobu took another look at the ward on the floor. Something about it felt off... It wasn't the fact it was a giant ward made out of blood. It was more... Spiritual. He couldn't put his finger on it. As he walked towards it, all sound around him stopped. Confused, he turned around and saw Chihiro and Chouko stopping in seemingly in the middle of a motion. So did the fake Arashi and Akira. "What's going on...?" he mumbled. He began walking towards the others but it was as if someone had put up a barrier that prevented him from walking further. "...What the...?" he tried punching it but it just reflected back. As Akinobu tried breaking out of the barrier, a lone shadow watched him - as if judging him. "..." The shadow disappeared and everything went back to normal again. "...What the... What happened?" he thought out loud and looked around. He couldn't see anyone else... Did he imagine things? Truth to be told, the fatigue was catching up with him and he was running low on stamina. "...If only there was some way for me to recover, if only for a minute or two... I can't create a spiritual house* here - something seems to blow it. Otherwise, I'd have been in Angel style all the time... Demon style seems unaffected but..." he muttered to himself.
(OoC: Spiritual House = the kind of house Akinobu trained Chouko in back at the old Persona Heaven Angel style = requires mostly spiritual energy but something blocks him from using it properly. Demon style = requires mostly physical energy).

"... Akira-san, can you help me get Chouko-san back on her feet? Her I want to get somewhere less ... Violent. Like, que corner over there," she said and pointed to the corner at the opposite end of the room. "Right!" He answered hurriedly. Akira ran to Chou's side, who was kneeling on the floor and patted her face. "Chou, hey! Hey, look at me!" "Guh ...". She complained with a hiss, her teeth clenched and breath coming in gasps "We're goin 'to move you there, you hear me? Hang on." he pointed to the corner of the room. Chouko said nothing, and he and Chihiro carried her stumbling to the corner of the room. Akira glanced at the weapon stuck to her shoulder, a serious expression on his face.
---
There was almost no pain when the blade went out of her body. She supposed that her nerves were already too overloaded to feel anything. The air seemed cold ... She had the distinct impression that she was losing more blood than she should.
A red blur that looked like Akira moved beside her, tearing something while Chihiro kept her still. The sound of their movements seemed to be coming from the end of a hallway, her brain unable to organize them in due time.
"... We meet again tonight " She heard a familiar voice speak out in a worried tone to her side." " ...?"
Chou made a great effort to move her neck to the side, the damaged muscle stretching painfully with the movement. "You should stay still, Chouko-san." Chihiro moved carefully her face back to the original position to allow Akira to continue tying the strip of fabric around her torso. It had been only a glimpse, but there were no doubts.
Itzpapalotl was there, floating in the air like a bad omen over the corpses, her long arms folded in a pensive expression.
"... You again?" Chou opened her mouth to ask, but as if reading her thoughts (and probably so) she went on "Yes, today happens to be a very special date." the creature narrowed her bright eyes behind the mask "... There is a rare black moon tonight. Millennia ago, the main ceremony in my tribute took place under this same moon. Someone who already has a link to me such as yourself should have a incredible ease to summon me, as the shamans of old once did. Especially when bleeding this much." At the mention of that, Chou briefly looked up. Itzpapalotl uncrossed her arms, now watching the wound with a serious expression before proceeding.
"... Listen to me very carefully, little one." the voice of the creature assumed to her ears an exotic accent, which still did not prevent her to understand clearly. Chou was not sure if the words came from the creature or from her mind, but her face moved to face the mask that floated a few feet above her suddenly clear mind "This day, this place. . . Things in this room that should have been lost throughout the ages and of which no one but me would have the ability to remember... How they got here escapes me, but it is in my interest as much as yours to discover."
---
"...If only there was some way for me to recover, if only for a minute or two... I can't create a spiritual house* here - something seems to blow it. Otherwise, I'd have been in Angel style all the time... Demon style seems unaffected but..." he muttered to himself.
"I can help you." Chouko stood up slowly from her position next to Akira and Chihiro.
"Hm, Chou? Wait you should not be moving yet ..."
"I am not Chou." she spoke loud and clear "And I'm fine."
Akira gave her an incredulous look to which she replied only with a sidelong glance, turning to face Akinobu. Her eyes gleamed unnaturally against the reflection of light.
She stared at the man bleeding on the floor, which stepped back up to the wall. "Oh yes, I remember. You are the one who almost had my vessel bleeding to death." she looked around the battle scene as if looking an interesting landscape, before pausing to collect an object on the ground. The small notebook that the man was always carrying. "And what is this thing you were carrying?" he made mention of wanting to move, probably to get it back, but his body did not move an inch. She flipped through the pages, then stopped at a few of them, looking dumbfounded "... Who taught you to read this?" she closed it with a thud.
The man on the floor squeaked, his hand on neck. "... Oh. I understand. You can't talk because someone put a curse on your throat?" she offered a false understanding look, smiling and walking up to him "Okay. Not a problem." and then crouched beside him, holding his collar with her good arm. "I'll just take what I need by force then." With a short movement, Chou's other arm lunged at the man. For a moment it seemed to everyone that she would punch his chest, but her arm crossed into his thorax as if his body offered no resistance at all. He looked at her with one last terrified look, unable to speak and coughing.
"..." "...What the-?!"
She, however, watched him with a look of pity. He died quickly.
"...Agar, hehta lein hrón ea netë asta nin. "
Almost as if emptying, the man's body started to wilt. His limbs thinned up and the dark circles under his eyes grew exponentially in size. He turned white as a sheet, the muscles under the increasingly thinner skin tensing. Finally, all that was left of him was a skeletal carcass. When she pulled his arm he left with a dry sound, revealing long metal claws in place of a human hand.
Caught between her claws, there was a heart. There was no sign of blood covering it. In fact, there was no sign of blood anywhere.
She carefully placed the object on the table scraps that previously attempted hitting Chihiro. "...He was in possession of knowledge that once belonged to my people. I forbid it's use to hurt anything living. Those who still did were to face judgement. My judgement." she turned around "Looks like someone taught him otherwise. Unfortunately, that person was smart enough to communicate with him only through means strange to me ... A white, large window full of runes and light, the sound of music in the background... And he pressed lots of things in a big, thin object near his legs. It probably makes more sense to you than me." she made an expression of frustration. "He came here to fulfill his rite of passage to become an initiate in a clan of sorts. More specifically ..." she pointed to the soundproof glass and walls.
On the other side Arashi watched the scene without his headphones, guitar now standing in silence.
"... He came to capture this man for them." she looked at him cautiously. "He's the real Arashi."
Very slowly, Chou (or, if you prefer, her body) leaned against the nearby wall, watching the hands that had now their normal human form back with curiosity "... Human blood changes quickly, perhaps even more now. What he is now he is no longer often after less than a few days. That's all I could extract from this man from within this period." she looked tired "It seems that retaining energy in this form requires more effort than expected. Chou's body is unexpectedly fragile."
Chouko raised her hand slightly. There was a disturbance in the air, as if heat was making it tremble, and then a dagger appeared between her fingers as if pulled from the void. The blade was of a dark purple that much resembled the Chou's persona. A small blue flame seemed to move inside of it's blade "... Furukawa Akinobu. The blood within me has the ability to recover some of your lost energy and will allow you to pass the ward. I'll gladly divide it with you." she pressed the blade lightly against the palm of the left hand to a thin trickle of blood rolled between her fingers "You must cut yourself as well. A small cut anywhere will do."

"..." Akinobu looked silently at her explanation. He realized what was happening; it had happened once before. "...You're not Chouko, yet you are Chouko. Isn't that right... Itzpapalotl?" Akinobu said as he held out his hand and got a small cut on his palm. He didn't seem to pay the fact he had another wound any attention. He was more interested in finding out why Itzpapalotl had emerged. He recalled seeing Itzpapalotl for the first time in Dark Nikawa. It was Chouko's first trip there and she had broken down into tears. "...I won't lie, I don't know why you're taking over Chouko's body, however..." as he said this, a strange gray aura started surrounding him. "...If it means she'll be fine, I don't really care much either," he said and cricked his knuckles. "...Come on. If you can recover even thirty percent of my energy, that'd be more than enough to beat the shit out of most things," he said and grabbed Chouko's hand. As he did, he felt a strange power come into his body. He was aware what was happening but at the same time, it felt unusual. "...First time I've had to get spiritual power from another person... Or a Persona. At least in this life," he laughed and turned around to Arashi. "You said he's the real Arashi, correct? In that case, I won't have to hold back!" he said and leaped towards Arashi, his now silver hair seemingly flowing as he leaped towards the ward.
However, once again, it was hitting an invisible barrier. "...Not yet... Furukawa... Your time isn't... Yet..." a voice echoed far off. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" he said irritated and turned around. Chihiro, Arashi and Akira all remained motionless but Chouko - or rather, Itzpapalotl - seemed unaffected by the entire ordeal. "...Hey, Itzpapalotl. What the hell happened? This is the--- Itzpapalotl?" he began walking towards Chouko with his hand towards her, but as he came close, she disappeared into thin air. "What the...?!" he said and turned around. The others disappeared as well. "What the hell is going on?!" Yamato* shouted. As he did, a person dressed in a black robe appeared before him. "Who the hell are you?!" he said and leaped towards the person with the intention of ramming the damn face in, but the same strange barrier seemed to surround the person. "Have you ever heard of... The Alpha and the Omega?" the person asked. "Who the hell haven't?!" he said and tried leaping towards the person again. "...It's a pity. You host the power of the Omega yet you refuse to use its full power... Furukawa..." the person said. It was impossible to say if it was a male or female - it kept alternating between a dark, deep voice and a light, more high pitched voice. "Listen here, you bastard, I don't know who the hell you think you are, but I won't let you toy with me as you please!" he said and took off his sweater and t-shirt. "You wish to fight me in my dimension, on my terms, without your Persona power? Fool," the person said and held out a hand and began closing it. As it happened, Yamato felt his throat slowly being crushed. "...I... Won't let... You kill... Me!" he said irritated and grabbed what felt like invisible arms around his neck and began prying them open. The person looked surprised at him as he managed to break free from the strangulation and instead leaped and rammed his fist into the persons face. The person stumbled backwards a few steps, then took out a knife and threw towards him. He dodged the knife and landed another punch. "I see... So... You refuse to use the power of the Omega... This will be... Interesting..." the person said and disappeared into thin air. Yamato looked around with a surprised face and shouted "Hey! Get the hell back here you cowardly bastard!" to no use. "...Tch," he turned back around and saw the others being back, looking at him as if he had spaced out. For some reason, he was also wearing his t-shirt and sweater again, but they looked more ragged - as if they had aged several years in the span of a few minutes. "Uh... No one saw that, did they?" he said. Everyone merely shook their heads. "Yeah I thought not..." he sighed. Oddly enough, he felt more refreshed now, even though he had just escaped the verge of death. "Who the hell was that...? And why did she* seem so familiar?" he thought but shook his head. This was no time to worrying about useless stuff.
(OoC: A few notes. Again. I refer to him as Yamato. Why? Because he's in his Yamato self (silver hair, blue-gray eyes). That's also why he gets gray colored text instead of red. He refers to the person as "she" as the person mainly used the feminine voice near the end. When mentioned that Akinobu has the power of the Omega, it's a reference to the current arc he's in (Akinobu's Insanity). You'll see what it's about some time sooner or later.)

(Ooc: I'm using (...) here and there. If possible (rather, if you want to) I would appreciate if you inserted Akinobu's viewpoint or actions. Feel free to do it elsewhere as well.)
--
"...Come on. If you can recover even thirty percent of my energy, that'd be more than enough to beat the shit out of most things," he said and grabbed Chouko's hand. As he did, Itzpapalotl began to murmur. "...Fae, cova na in camlanya." The words seemed to cause her an involuntary tremor and at the end of the first sentence, a fine artery in her wrist began to radiate a soft bluish light, which slowly spread like a web up to her chest. The light seemed to flow along with blood, pulsing and moving at intervals and forming trails of light under her skin. "Meldonya, lenca agarnya salpa." She said, offering Akinobu a quick look. "Nai sen sîr antoryasëdhir. Nai á tirë lúmessë yassë el coa malasë, hen seregvala medui el naeg... El cuil cauma." The web then began to appear also in his hand, up his arm in the same way as hers until reaching his chest. It pulsed slowly, and with each beat conveyed a warm sensation that rose through the members as a wave, accompanying the pulse of light.
Eventually satisfied, she let go of his hand ending the ritual. There was no trace of the cut made by the two in both palms.
"Wait, meldonya-"
But he was already gone, or should have gone. Time slowed briefly for a moment, he blinked, and then came back with his original hair color. There was an unusual smell hanging in the air around him."...Tch," he turned back around "Uh... No one saw that, did they?" he said. Everyone merely shook their heads. "I hope you never come to die for your haste, meldonya " She said calmly, walking up to him. "...Is your diction good? I need you to repeat what I will say before attempting to pass through the barrier. Is important that you speak clearly. " (...) "I understand. I will use a simple spell, but it will consume your energy as you go through. Listen carefully and repeat after me."
Once satisfied with the pronunciation he tried to imitate, she nodded her head. "Yes, that's it. Be careful to pronounce the 'ë' the right way. It will have no effect otherwise."
She walked up to the ward.
"Varilëdîn edrasë."
An invisible surface on the air in front of her was filled with waves, distorting the image of the recording room after it. She walked calmly towards it and held out her hand, which crossed the thin translucent wall. She immediatly felt the ward pushing her back, and her spell absorbing her energy to prevent it of doing so. On the other side transparent thin threads were attached to the surface of her fingers, as if trying to pull her back as well. "Hm." she frowned, and then pushed her arm further into, and more, until her head and torso also crossed the barrier. This was well built. she moved one leg at a time through it, emerging on the other side entirely.
The leeching sensation stopped, to what she gave a small sigh of relief.
"... Do not hesitate to stop if you start to feel dizzy, as this form of magic quickly consumes your life force." she said to Aki on the other side without turning around. "You will die otherwise."
(...)
"Are you well?" She asked, giving him a brief look. He looked slightly tired for a moment but the color was returning quickly to his face. Her blood seemed to be doing it's work. She then returned her attention to the man in the middle room.
His guitar was standing against the wall in the background. The microphone was still in place, waiting for someone to start using it. Arashi wore a shirt emblazoned in black and white with pictures of angels and a single demon in a carriage, probably some illustration of a rock band. His jeans were faded and torn, and he wore a pair of mismatched shoes to boot.
She made no mention of the manner in which he dressed.
"Today ... And now. Of all days and hours in a century, I run into a dangerous situation where traces of an ancient civilization long lost still remain. This is no coincidence." she spoke accusatory manner "You brought me here."
Arashi made no mention of moving. His head, lowered slightly, casted shadows over his face as he uttered the first sentence in a hoarse voice after so much singing. "Rehtië immë, Valandil."
Itzpapalotl was silent for a moment, almost bewildered. "...Paktadë iaurlam?"
"Al olë." he coughed.
(...)
"...He speaks the true language as well."
Arashi remained silent, massaging his throat.
"... To have our land shaped, those who came before us have learned to call out to the land and the living." she looked at Akinobu at her side. "The language itself was used to command and regulate our power. Each act of magic, object, animal, action, was linked to a specific word. It was once the language of all beings in my land. However ... As the language was created to invoke the true essence of things in order to perform our rites, is impossible for someone to lie while speaking it." she glanced Arashi "Rehtië immë, Valandil.' he says. 'I've come to save you from ruin, god-friend.". (...)
Arashi slowly got himself up from the chair. His legs seemed to be weak for some reason.
"...I am Arashi. The real one.The one who was living by everyone's side in the last two years or so was a copy of me, made from a detached part of my soul. Finally got my fake half killed when those sons of a bitches forgot to lock up my cage. Good riddance."
------------
(Ooc: C'mon detective's son. it's Cross-examination time...! Instead of making big posts I'll keep the next ones short, as we'll be able to ask Arashi whatever. Let's make a few small ones with one or two questions each, then move along.)

"I hope you'll never die from your haste," she said. Akinobu merely shrugged at the comment, but turned around and looked at the place the other person had been moments ago. "I'm the only one who saw that person? How? No... Rather than HOW, the question should be, WHY? And what's that "power of the Omega" I'm supposed to have...? I know of the Alpha and the Omega but... I have the power of the Omega? Then who has the power of the Alpha? Chouko? The smiling bastard*? Mitsune? Chi-chan? Or someone else?" he thought but his thoughts was interrupted when told he was going to chant a spell, repeating after her. "...Repeat some magic spell after you? Well why not. I've been through stranger things..." he said as Chouko* began chanting the spell. He began repeating it after her at once and made sure to say it as close as possible to how she had said. He slowly closed his eyes as he chanted the spell and - somewhere in the distance - he heard something strange. It sounded like a familiar voice. "...What's that voice?" he thought but didn't open his eyes. His focus remained on the spell. "Do not hesitate to stop if you feel dizzy, as this magic spell quickly consumes your life force," she said. He wasn't sure if it was to warn him or worry him, but he smirked lightly. "...A Furukawa doesn't die unless he's had a cup of tea with the Grim Reaper over a lost game of chess," he replied as they began walking past the ward.
Once on the other side, he opened his eyes again. Chouko was speaking to Arashi and he took this chance to mutter a quick incantation of his own. "...There..." he mumbled and looked at his body. It had been covered in bruises and wounds but all of them seemingly disappeared into thin air. Once done, he turned his attention back to Chouko and Arashi. The two of them began talking to each other and he decided to remain silent. Instead, he turned his attention to Chihiro and Akira. Chihiro was texting someone - did cellphones work in this forsaken hellhole? - and Akira seemed to be ready to leap into action at a moment's notice.
"...I am Arashi. The real one. The one who was living by everyone's side in the last two years was a copy of me, made from a detached part of my soul. Finally got my fake safe killed when those sons of bitches forgot to lock up my cage. Good riddance," Arashi said. Akinobu stopped in the middle of a movement. "...They forgot to lock up... Your cage? What the hell does THAT mean?" he said and turned back to Chouko. "...I'll let you deal with the interrogation right now," he said and began chanting something on his own. "Daughter of Lucifer, son of Michael, child of Darkness, warrior of Light, let those who fell by the old river* once more come to this land and protect me from that which is out for me and help me find what I search," he chanted quietly to himself as a soft light surrounded him. "Whew... That's better," he said and turned back around and looked at Arashi. There was something odd about everything that had happened. This was the real Arashi? And the other one had been a fake? Though a Furukawa - and a Persona user - this had easily come into the top four strangest things he's experienced in the past week. "...I'm gonna blame the fact that someone died* that it's in my top four* things," he mumbled and thought about what to ask Arashi. He had a million questions so he decided to begin with the most basic one. "...You say you're the real Arashi. Then how come you detached a part of your soul?" he asked.
(OoC: Smiling bastard = Ritsu Sachiyo, his (arguably) best friend. I just refer to her as "Chouko" as always - technically, it IS her. Shi = Death = Four in Japanese. He makes a pun. The small chant he does is a basic recovery spell that all Furukawa's knows of but they rarely use it to the point most people forget it exists to begin with. When he says "those who fell by the old river," it's another reference to his family - Furukawa roughly translates to "by the old river". Sorry for the short/shitty post. I haven't eaten breakfast and just woke up. Blergh. I'll try to edit later...)

"...You say you're the real Arashi. Then how come you detached a part of your soul?" Akinobu he asked.
Arashi seemed to think for a moment, then said with rather depressingly "Well, from what I know, it was when my girlfriend died." he said "It was a car accident. Shortly thereafter, my double appeared and these guys got me trapped."
"...I see." Itzpapalotl merely murmured, as if she undertood what he meant.
Arashi turned to Akinobu. "...Basically, according to shamanic traditions, partial soul loss can occur during times of extreme emotional or physical trauma. This loss of soul can result in depression, illness, addictions, post-traumatic stress syndrome... The soul eventually goes back to it's body with time, provided that the person is still alive by then. It's a natural circle." he explained "...Thing is, the detached part becomes vulnerable during that time."
"...And someone with the knowledge grabbed hold of yours and made a puppet for some reason." Itzpapalotl said "This is no good. Normal humans don't have the power to grab hold of someone's soul. They need a shaman, which means... We just might have another deity involved in this." Itzpapalotl frowned "How come you know my language?"
Arashi gave a sad laugh "I'm not sure if Chouko came to comment this*, but I always enjoyed studying on the occult. Conspiracy theories, magic, old gods, doomsday and the like." he said "... I do not believe blindly in all of it, but I've always been of the opinion that there is some truth in all the things in this world. And now I'm in the presence of obsidian butterfly in the flesh." he said it almost in awe. "I learned most of what I know about you in a dark corner of the internet ... And believe me, there was almost nothing there." "... Dark side of the internet? I suppose that's a moon?" "Hm ... well, I guess we can explain it better another time. * sweatdrop * Anyway, I was curious, so I ended up searching more for more info. Stone scripting, customs, rituals, music, architecture... The language... Well, that I didn't learn because I wanted to. After you hear people using it all around you when you're trapped with them for more than a year, you kinda end up picking a few words. I recognized that it had some sort of relation to you because they mentioned your name once. I... Unfortunately I don't have idea of what they meant that time, except for the important part, that was that they basically were after you, and well, that you were in Chou's body."
---
(*She did. I'm not sure if you remember, but Chou described Arashi as being the first one that would yell 'I told you this would happen!' if the end of the world was upon them.)
