BASIC:
AGE: 19
BIRTHDAY: November 14.
SCHOOL YEAR: 3rd year of High School
ARCANA: X - Fortune
CLASS: Class A
CLUB: Swimming club
JOB: Part-time at Hideyoshi Sushi
PERSONA: Itzpapalotl (LINK)
Appearance:
HAIR: Short, straight and slightly spiky silver hair. Originally black.
VOICE: Switches between her 'working voice' (a polite, softly spoken voice) and her original, slightly low modulated voice. It acquires a pinch of a commanding tone when she is angry.
EYE COLOR: Cyan lenses. Originally a mid gray.
HEIGHT: 175 cm (Very tall among japanese women).
WEIGHT: 66 kilos.
CLOTHING: Is almost never seen without a hair ornament, especially her butterfly clip that she received as a gift a few years ago. Likes to have her arms free, and rarely uses sleeves or accessories on them. She is rarely seen with heels, and it is uncertain if she just does not like them, if she feels that she stands out to much (too tall) with them, or if she cannot walk well using those after all.
INVENTORY: A black ink pen, a pair of fingerless leather gloves, a small pair of white earphones and a cellular model from a few years ago, covered with so many stickers that would be impossible to mistake it for someone else's (or recognize it's original color). The cell is apparently connected to some sort of GPS system of Naniwa.
PERSONAL:
PERSONALITY: She is usually a very hardworking young woman who does not mind paying her weight in sweat to achieve a goal once she has focused on it. Chou has the personal directive of never promise things that she won't do in it's full extent. She is also very attached to the family and considers her close friends as part of it. But at the same time, she is the first to be seen daydreaming for a long time while watching the landscape... And the last to wholeheartedly trust someone despite her smiling. She is quite the wary character, more than often raising one eyebrow to people and situations.
The difference between her attentive nature while among her family and her uptight (if not even cold) demeanor at other times frequently has older people marking her as 'confusing', and wondering just how did she grown up to be like that.
STRENGTHS: Cooking (sushi is her speciality); fighting with her bare hands; learning how something was crafted from observation (drawings, mostly)
WEAKNESS: Slight phobia of water (barely swims), has the bad habit of getting herself into trouble by helping people with dangerous stuff, can't see anything in front of eyes when raging.
HABITS/MANNERISMS: Tends to be suspicious of strangers, holds things with her mouth when hands are busy, begins to draw things when bored on the nearest available surface (Including her own arms. Almost freaked out her family when they saw the it the first time, they thought it was a very large tattoo.)
LIKES: Animals (of any kind, even the creepy ones), to read comics or thick volumes of books, training (fighting), video games and movies, touring the prototypes and new services section at Cyber-Ichi, learning about something new, her brother Otani, daydreaming, to prepare hearty food to her loved ones, answer an insult with a smart retort.
DISLIKES: Too many rules, Lazy people, having to lie to someone, food waste (something she developed by working in the restaurant), way too revealing clothing, staying on the beach for long, storms, vivid pink.
HISTORY/PAST:
Held a year at school in the past due to circumstances that she does not mention, Chou started to assist in the family restaurant by helping her father to make deliveries, and later on by preparing sushi and serving the customers. She went through a sudden change in her personality during childhood, from a quiet child to an impetuous young woman, despite her taste for solitude never having completely disappeared. Every now and then she is still saw taking strolls at the beach by her lonesome self as she did long before, seemingly lost in thoughts.
Before attending Tsubasa High, Chou was part of a small gang. She left them about four years ago but, due to the strange circumstances around the gruesome death of one of their old leaders recently, Chouko decided to join them again once more and share her knowledge about the shadow world. Not much is know about them except for the fact that they seem to like taking advantage of tech to do their job, even sharing some sort of cell app between their members for communication. They called themselves 'The Pack', their leaders trademark being the hair, always bleached silver.
Chouko is frequently saw with her younger brother Otani, who constantly plays tricks on her. For reasons unknown, Otani always seems very set on finding a boyfriend for his sis, and it usually ends up Chou's hands finding Otani's neck. However, despite their bickering at times they do like each other deeply, and are frequently praising one another when the other one is not around. Otani loves sports, and currently transferred to a school famous for their athletes. His current most prized possession is a brand new set of rollers, which he uses to go to and back from school.
Chou's mother, Nadeshiko, is a very kind woman with silvery voice, seemingly eternally dressed in a kimono. She takes care of the cash register in the restaurant and serves customers occasionally. Despite not speaking much, she is very affectionate with her two children and wants them to be happy above all. She has a passion for foreign drama and collects little trinkets from all over the world as a hobby.
Kotaro is Chou's father. He takes care of the family restaurant with great zeal, often being the first to wake up in the morning and the last to sleep. Cherishes the traditional and the elegant, and tries to express such both in his dishes and in his dressing code. He is often seen with a smile, and generally avoids redundancies while talking with people except for rare occasions. His only fault is being overprotective at times, especially in relation to Chouko and his wife.
And finally there is Akira. Akira is a... Male version of Chou to put it in simple terms, and currently the main figure leading 'the pack'. They look so much like each other at times that if you gave them both the same exact hairdo you probably wouldn't be able to tell one from another from a distance. They have been friends since forever, but Chou's father doesn't like the guy very much, specially because Chou had a crush on him. He wanders around town in a red bike, and has the strange habit of using dark red glasses almost all the time, even when inside buildings. Some people comment he looks like some exaggerated manga character with his looks and way of speaking... Despite his eccentricity, Akira is a reliable person who hates injustice and suffering, and generally pops out if Chou or one of his friends are in a pinch somewhere in Nikawa.
