Chouko woke up and took a look around. The last thing she remembered was being in her home, minding her own business. The next, she was here, in a place most fittingly described as Hell. Some say that it's the law of the jungle, but they couldn't be more wrong. This place had powerful beings get consumed by even more powerful beings. It was a never ending chain of power consuming power.
Now then, what will you do, Hideyoshi Chouko?

"Hnng ..." Chouko opened one eye. Her head felt so heavy ... Had she slept while drawing? "...!! Oh no ...!" She lifted her face, expecting to see her work completely smudged across the table ... But there was nothing to see. "...?" Actually, the thing over which she seemed to have slept not even looked like her brand new drawing board, it seemed way too worn to be hers. There was dust and mold all over the place, even over the small TV next to her bed... That also seemed to have seen better days. She wiped her face with the back of the hands, looking around. Definitely... "... This is my room" though it had taken some time for her to get used to it*. Still seemed to be dark outside. Chouko stood on her feet, the floor beneath her clicking with the sudden weight. "Otaniii ...?" she ventured to call.
Silence. A cool breeze came through the open gaps of the window, making the shimmering origami hanging along the ceiling dance slowly. Or what was left of them.
"A nightmare, definitely." Feeling more confident with that thought she forced the decrepit window beside her open. "..."
Outside, a horribly familiar landscape was visible.
"... Oh no. Not again." she checked her pockets in search of her old card.
(ooc: *Chou's house was rebuilt after the... Uh, explosion.)

Chouko looked around. What could easily be described as a nightmare was very real. Her Persona card had lost its shine. It looked like a regular tarot card, with the exception of the blue flame on the back. Though she had once the power of Persona, the power was seemingly lost. For what reason, she couldn't say. Meanwhile, the beings known as Shadows seemed to stalk her. It was impossible to tell where they came from. From the front, from the back, the sides... They were everywhere, yet nowhere. All she could do was continue onward and hope that the Shadows wouldn't consume her. With no means of fighting back, she needed some kind of weapon to protect herself. Hideyoshi Chouko, what will you do? Will you try to fight back when they appear? Or will you try running away from them all? Only time will tell.

"... Itzpapalotl?" she called softly, hoping that the thunderous voice she became so familiar with would play in her ears.
There was no reaction.
Hey, Itzpapalotl, it would be a good time for you to come out from wherever you're hiding. She thought, hoping that it would reach her. She looked over her shoulder. Maybe it was just the fear like a cold breeze passing under the door, but she seemed to have heard a rather unnatural snap just now.
Still nothing.
Come on, with moths and months full of opportunities to not bother me you choose this day to-...?! *Crack*
*BLAM* ... *sharp twirling sound*
There was no mistake this time. There was definitely someone ... or most likely something, climbing the stairs to the rooms. That sound was probably the handrail ... The metal probably had fallen out and rolled down the steps.
"..."
Without a persona ... Well, she knew that trying to fight shadows without a proper weapon was utter madness. The only way was to wake up. And to wake up ...
... The subway station? Perhaps... She remembered waking up after getting into a train. Was it still a way out? Well I don't get any closer to finding a way out being in here. I have a lead, might as well take a look. She would not find her answers inside a house with a possible monster on the loose. ...Well, maybe if she was looking to find out how the afterlife looks like.
She put one foot on the windowsill, testing the stability.
Good thing I've done this a lot of times ... She looked at the ground down there, making sure that there was nothing in the way of her fall ... And then to the wall structure itself. She hoped it would still hold their weight, or that she would be fast enough to get momentum before it collapsed.
... Wait.
Something was shining in here ...
She stepped back and forced a cabinet close to open, a cloud of dust and a squeaking noise followed.
Inside it was a wakizashi, the same she remembered having left that same closet in the 'real' world. She seemed to have aged like everything else in the room but for some reason, the blade seemed to have withstood a lot more than the sheat ...
She could not put her finger on it, but in the back of her mind something told herthat Amy and Midori had done something with it... Maybe way back.
*Rattle* *Rattle*
The door of her bedroom began to shake strongly.
Shit! It's now...!
She leaned on the window as she always did to leave the house in secret, leaping over a small roof under the window, and then down to the patio. The roof tiles seemed to be ready to crack when she walked over, and her fall was a little off due to her hurry, but she managed stand up quickly enough, the sword within its sheath still being firmly hold in one of her hands.
If it would work against a shadow? She preferred not knowing the answer if possible. She knew how normal weapons "Metro station ... Three blocks... *Huff* Up the outline of the coast ...!" She muttered to herself like a mantra, putting a steady rhythm in her running. Suspicious, she glanced over the surrounding buildings. She avoided approaching corners, windows, roofs or walls from which the enemies could jump suddenly. In fact, the further she was from the houses the better.
She glanced over coastline, into the raging red sea. Like a bad omen in the midst of water, crashed deeply into the wall of rocks that outlined the pier, there was a boat that was very familiar... "... Keh."
She looked away from there in a quite brusque way before quickening her pace
