Akinobu walked back and forth while listening to the story. He tried to clear his thoughts but it was foggy. It was as if someone had put a blanket over his mind after drugging it. "...Damn it... Damn it... Damn it..." he mumbled while the two Deity's continued their story. "..Dark side of the Internet? I suppose that's a moon?" Itzpapalotl asked. "...No, it's basically... The one place of the Internet you don't want to go to. It's like... How should I explain it... All the worst stuff you know rammed together in one place," he said half out of loud. He wasn't sure if Itzpapalotl had heard him nor did he really care. "...Itzpapalotl being in Chouko's body, huh... That'd explain our training..." he said and opened and closed his fist a few times. He recalled when he had taught her Turtle Stance and Fainted Blade. She had passed out time and time again without even getting close to understanding the basics of Turtle Stance properly. She could enter it, she just wasn't as flexible in her stances as she should have been.
He kicked a nearby table leg - it probably came from one of the tables that the guy from earlier threw around - before sticking his katana into the floor. "Damn it!" he said out loud. Chihiro looked silently at him without saying anything. She wasn't sure what was wrong but whatever it was... It was clear something bothered him. "...I got another question. Do you happen to know how many Deity's that currently inhabit the people of Nikawa?" he asked and looked at Arashi, who looked at him with a face half of confusion and half of "you're just kidding me, aren't you?". "...Sorry, ignore it. It's just..." he began but all of a sudden fell towards the floor, clutching his chest. "W-What...? What's this pain...?" he mumbled silently. It was as if someone had put a large rock on top of his chest after tying him down. "...Shit..." he mumbled and grabbed his katana and turned it towards his chest. "Akinobu-dono, what are you---?" Chihiro began but before anyone had the chance to stop him, he cut himself with the katana. Strangely enough, the wound healed instantly. He tried so five more times, with the same result. "...Is this the power of the Omega?" he said silently to himself. All other wounds he had gotten in the fight from earlier also disappeared - it was as if someone had used a higher powered version of Dia* on him. "...Hey, how's the interrogation going, Itzpapalotl?" he asked and shook his head.
(OoC: Someone uses Diarahan on him. Who it is? You'll see in the future.)

"... Hey, how's the interrogation going, Itzpapalotl?" he asked and shook his head.
"... It is difficult to continue when you are attempting to kill yourself beside me." she said quietly. She apparently was observing him the whole time "If you are feeling strange you should go, meldonya." she blinked and turned her attention to Arashi "... I lost the power to return to life to the dead a long time ago and can not guarantee the safety of either of you." Arashi looked from Aki to Chou, his expression bordering between fatigue and the unrestrained curiosity. "... As you were saying?" "Yes, that was my barrier." he nodded "Getting to the study the occult without knowing how to create a spiritual barrier is simple stupidity. So I tell myself that I will keep with my studies as long as I also find ways to protect me from trouble." ".... Still, you got caught." "Hey, I was not expecting that. My specialty has always been to drive away evil spirits to protect myself and other people. How the hell am I supposed to expect a bunch of human kidnappers inside my own house all of a sudden?" he made an angry face "I have no idea why until now they caught me nor why they've kept me alive this long. I'm just an occultist rocker, for god's sake! " "... ... " He sighed shortly "... 'Perhaps I have discovered something they did not want anyone to know.' Soon after I was captured this seemed the most plausible explanation... Yet at the same time, this makes no sense because all I know is available to anyone who wants to read about it if you visit the same places I did. " Arashi frowned "The only thing of which I am absolutely sure is that you are involved in the answer in some way or other, which is why I had to plan this whole mess of a meeting." "You brought me here so you could... Talk to me?" "Yes ma'am. You said yourself, today the black moon is out. No other chance to summon you for real like this for another century or so. Thankfully, they didn't seemed set on killing me for some reason, so I had to come up with a plan, fast. When I managed to escape, I hurried up and got rid of that stupid fake. They didn't know that I was aware about the existence of that thing, so after I had him killed I pretended that nothing had happened and carried on fake Arashi's life for tonight as a cover. They probably only noticed when someone came to check up on me and I wasn't there anymore. " Chou made a pensive expression "...When the police got there, the murderer was already gone. The front door had not been forced open. " she heard Chou's voice in the back of her mind "It took them a little while after that to realize what had happened, and by the time they managed to send someone after me I was already here and you guys had picked my track." he took something outta his pocket "Had to get my damn card back from his phone too." it was a black cell phone "I was watching you guys from here. Even gave a few hints about my whereabouts."
(flashback)
*Chou reading the messages in her phone at Aki's place*
Hey, someone saw fake Arashi at the Magic Cube. ... Mm, he was supposed to do a show there tonight. The fake is keepin' his schedule? (=_=') Wut? Kinda expecting him try leave town or somthing... Fuck logic this whole thing is messed up already Point So, we got a video? So... His cellphone was completely broken. Just got told by the police. Aw man There goes one lead about him then

"...Don't worry, I won't die from something this easy..." he said and looked at the places he had cut himself. There was nothing to indicate he had hurt himself. The wounds had disappeared as quickly as they had appeared. "...Even though I'm part of the Furukawa lineage - and the reincarnated Yamato to add to that - I haven't heard of this ability before... Instant regeneration... What is this?" he mumbled as they continued the conversation. "...Damn it," he leaned against a nearby wall and looked towards the roof. "Akinobu-dono, is something wrong?" Chihiro asked. He shook his head lightly without replying. Though he had a lot on his mind right now, he was unsure where to begin. Arashi had turned to be a fake... And now a God damn GODDESS is taking a human host and speaking with another Deity. "...Well, at least I'll have something to brag about for my kids..." he muttered and took out his cellphone and gave it a quick glance. "...Huh?" he had a new unread text. He opened it and - much to his surprise - it was nearly empty. The only thing in it was a single word. "..." he clenched his fist and felt his nails digging into his fist so he began bleeding lightly. He looked at the blood and walked over to Arashi and looked straight at him. "...Yes?" he said and turned towards Akinobu. "..." Akinobu looked silently at him. He began raising his katana but then lowered it again. "..." He walked away again and leaned towards the wall and looked at his hand. It had already healed again. "...Hey, Arashi." he said and looked straight at him again. Arashi turned his attention back towards Akinobu once more. "Can I help you?" Arashi asked. "...No, nevermind, it's nothing..." he shut his eyes and rammed his fist into a nearby wall instead. "What the hell was that God damn message about?" he thought to himself and took out his cellphone again and looked at it. The only word in it was "Shi" ("Die"). It wasn't uncommon for people to want him dead but no one had ever just sent a text with the word 'Shi' before. "...Damn it all," he mumbled and sat down instead. He had a lot of thoughts going through his head right now but none that seemed to make sense. Or was relevant. "Damn it... Damn it... Damn it..." he muttered. He couldn't make heads or tails of the message. Did someone want him to die? Did someone ask him to die? Or did someone ask him to kill someone? He wasn't sure. "...Shit," he muttered and stood back up.
(OoC: The one who sent the text is related to his current arc (Akinobu's Insanity). And yes, it's the same person who keeps using Diarahan on him).

The interrogation went back and forth in waves. Chou would sometimes say something in that strange language which Arashi tried responding to, sometimes looking confused as a five year old trying to complete a sentence. Amid all there were a couple of phrases that hung in the air between them at regular intervals:
"Ná ha naitë?"
"Ná haitë."
Before they continued.
Arashi talked to them about a minuscule house in Aoba, where he supposedly been held captive. He mentioned with strangeness that for whatever reason people fully ignored the place, almost as if they could not see it. He believed that it was some sort of illusory magic and, in fact, when he drove off and looked back there was nothing but a pile of debris and a sign saying 'Danger - risk of collapse'. He would have taken pictures, but his cell phone was going crazy while he was there. The screen blinked and crashed all the time, the phone turned itself off from time to time and, not that rarely, would begin to vibrate for no apparent reason. The device went back to work normally when he walked away about thirty meters from the front door.
"Nothing interesting there. They basically went to check how I was and to bring food, but now that I ran away they have no real reason to be there. The shack is too small to serve as a base of operations, there's nothing but a mattress and a bathroom in terrible condition." he made a face of disgust " They were cautious to even take the wiring from the shower."
Finally, he made a short narrative of how he had gotten there. The prospect of spending what was left of his life there, until they decided what to do with him, was making he go nuts him little by little. That's when the idea occurred to him. He began to do just that, and act like he was going crazy. The jailers laughed and mocked him but slowly began to lower their guard around him, convinced that he was no longer able to fight back. "... Today one of them took too long to close the door while talking. It was a pattern that was already happening for a while and he built too much confidence about his safety because I didn't react to it before." he made an involuntary movement with his hands as if pulling something. So he ran, killed his double, recovered his phone's chip and sent a message saying where he was going, fortunately being rescued before being captured again. Or worse.
"... But I confess that I was afraid to die before I could give an explanation to you." he coughed hoarsely "A sad end for someone who just begun to have a life again for about... Six hours ago."
"Ná ha naitë?"
"Ná haitë." he nodded gravely.
Chou's face turned just slightly upward, her eyes still nailed on Arashi "... I believe in you."
He seemed to relax for the first time during the entire conversation.
"Still, the fact is that you have been presumed dead remains. Chouko seems to think that this poses a problem."
"Yeah, basically I do not have an identity with registries anymore. Well, except for my certificate of death." He gave a low chuckle.
"... I assume you have much time on hands then?"
"Yeah."
"... Excellent." she gave a small smile that resembled very much a 'v' "So I have a task to give you later." she spoke to him, turning around and walking towards the barrier behind them. She took out the small book (now a little filthy and wrinkled) "... We should leave. There is nothing else of use here." she said, flipping through the pages as if reading a vaguely interesting magazine. Sometimes she made an unsatisfied expression, muttering quietly. "..." Arashi hastened to follow her in silence, seeming interested in what she was doing. When Chouko made a move to cross the barrier "I'll do it." Arashi ran ahead of her. He put a hand on the invisible surface, seeming to concentrate. He muttered something and the next moment vitreous barrier made the air ripple again one last time before disappearing altogether.
"Sorry for not having done this before. I had to make sure that you were the real thing."
"...Why is he with you?" Akira was waiting on the other side with fists raised in a defensive position. "Peace, red eyes. He is not our enemy. "
She summarized the facts to Akira and Chihiro, which made the first slowly lower his guard and look at Arashi in stupor . "... So you're not dead?" "... You see me trying to tear your head like a mindless zombie?" "Haha yeah, I suppose you're not." He walked over and gave him a pat on the shoulder "I'm surprised you're even thinking straight. You just came back from hell. " " Less like hell and more like a limbo ... I have no idea what is currently happening in the city except for the comments that they did occasionally. " " Don't you worry. We'll fill you in. There's a lot of stuff we must let ya know. " " *shakes head*... I'll be mentally preparing myself to hear it. " he seemed pained by the thought. They made their way toward the elevator, then Chouko stopped "... Wait." She looked behind her.
She Seemed to be taking in the whole mess was in the room, her eyes stopping at each thing for a few seconds. "... Hm ... Itzpal-* stutters * Ack ... Itzpa...palotl?" "Wait, do not interrupt her. I want to see this." Arashi semmed to understand what she was doing. She breathed in. "In bant, sarno, hamma, quenya..." She Begun chanting. With the noise of tinkling , clicks and dragging the objects in the room rose from their places. Broken glass regrouped in whole surfaces. A couple of broken chairs mended up again, the fibers uniting into a full piece. Certain objects just went flying, stopping with a soft click on surfaces they were previously. The floor seemed to be swept by an invisible surface, the marks of blood and sweat disappearing, making it all polished again. The pungent smell of decomposition was slowly diminishing as she spoke, until it finally disappeared completely. "... * Exhales *"
As she finished, the whole room was repaired. In fact, it looked brand-new.
Except for one thing.
"..." Chouko stared annoyed to the parts of the stereo that refused to move. Behind her, Arashi smiled as if he understood a joke. “...Hollen colca.” Instead of fixing itself, the stereos pretty much closed themselves in their shapes again, their electronic parts jumping in just as broken as before. They looked whole, but they certainly didn’t work.
She turned around and accompanied the rest of them into the elevator, completing the improbable group. The goddess with gleaming eyes. The rocker with spiky hair and piercings. The motorbike-rider looking guy with red shades and a hoodie. The tall guy whose clothes made him look like someone who went through a traffic accident. And a deadly girl wearing a tuxedo. The last two held had katanas.
“… So, Aki, I suppose we should warn the others so that they won’t kill me when I step outside.” Arashi remarked in a very monotone way. “I’m on it.” Akira said while using his phone to text something. Chouko was looking at the object with silent curiosity. He noticed, and smiled nervously at her. “Oh, hey guys! Guess what…” he begun saying to whoever he called to.
*Ding*
The elevator opened its doors on the dance floor. The girl waiting outside stopped midway to embarking after looking at them.
“Up.”
The man with red eyes went in front of everyone, guiding us through the crowd of people. More than one of them gave us a suspicious look, but did nothing to arouse my suspicion. I turned my eyes back to the little notebook, still troubled. Whoever had written it had a good sense of how the language of my ancestors worked. Still, there were many errors in the notes here and there. It was obvious that whoever had done it had full confidence that that was right, or he or she (or it) would never finish to write it's first page. I hissed to the text, which quickly reorganized the pigment inside the page to suit my will.
The human jeweled eyebrows followed me closely, a clear demonstration of curiosity. It's a nostalgic feeling, being observed while working.
"... And we're outside. Phew. " “Woah.” “...What a sight.”
Leaving the interior of the party house that smelled of alcohol and crushed flowers I turned my face toward the heavens. There, in the dark gray slate painted roof of the sky I came across a familiar landscape. The moon in its full circumference was under the shadow of the world of men, which made it almost black. The Sun, exactly aligned behind the earth, colored the already ominous medallion in a rich shade of red.
A black moon. Or a blood moon. I had witnessed the event hundreds of times. It had become interesting again in the last two,. The world below it however is tremendously different from anything I remembered. I always wondered what were the tiny stars that began to emerge a few decades ago, sprinkled over the surface of the earth like golden power. They are not as impressive when viewed up close. Still interesting though.
"This way." The red eyed man indicated, quickening his pace. I returned to my revisions. Smell of powder. Gas. Food. Tobacoo. Everything seems to come from all directions. This place confuses my brain.
"... Arashi?" I just raised my eyes upon hearing an unfamiliar voice calling the man with the eyebrow jewelry.
“Me.” He replied without hesitation "Shit, you're alive." One man approached him, followed by a group of people of varying ages "If this story had come from the mouth of anyone else I would have called bullshit." "You were kidnapped ?! " "Woah, you could get even slimmer ...! Dude, you look ill, no offense. " " ... Yup, you're too pale. We have a first aid kit here. Hold on. " "It is true that Chou ...?" One girl looked at me as he talked with him. Something made her take a step back. "Good job, everyone! You recorded something in there?" "Hm ... Yes, if the camera wasn't broken we have videos. We'll discuss those later." " Arashi is here ~! * waves * "An unknown noise beeped from the square thing in my pocket. A little voice in the back of my mind told me to leave it be. "... It is good to see you all. I've been thinking about ... Niki? Is that you? Woah, you have grown much ... I ... "" Hey, Arashi, we bought a van! Huh, apparently your copy was driving it, but just for the record, you are the driver! "" Oooi Akira ... do not run away! You have to disinfect this cut! "" Ack, I said it's fine! I'm not turning into a zombie or anythin '! "
The group of people that gathered was increasing, forming a half moon around me and the others. Some of them caught shiny objects from their pockets and spoke to them as if they were talking to a person, expressing sentences of joy or relief. "Yeah, let's eat ramen then. Been two years since I went to that restaurant... "“...” “Huh, Arashi?” “Ah? Oh, damn. I’m just glad to see you guys again that's all.” he wiped a tear “Poor thing.” A large woman wearing a extravagant purple blouse said, giving him a look of pity. Two youngsters glanced at each other, one of them suddenly hugged him “...Group hug!” “yeah, GROUP HUUG!” a second one followed suit, then a large amount of people tackled the man with jewels on his eyebrow as a massive force. “Got him!” They raise him over their heads then begun running to a nearby park. “To the fountain!!” “WHAT?”
Within the city that smelled of smoke, dust and food under the dark, heavy sky which had nothing to do with the blood moon appearing today, the sound of laughter and confident steps clashed like a star in a cloudy sky of winter solstice.
“No, nononono wait! WAIT YOU SON OF A- *SPLASH*”
“…*smirk*”
“...”
“Chill dude, we’ll have you dry in a second. *splashes more water over him*”
For a moment, I felt like crying too.
Aah ... I'm soaked! There is water in my shoes too. “Chill dude, we’ll have you dry in a second. *splashes more water*” “...Just help will ya?” “Fine, fine…” I laughed with him despite myself. “Well, I suppose I needed a bath.” “Yup, you’re stinking.” “I know.” I glanced to everyone around. It was so strange. Just yesterday I was shivering in a cell, wondering if I could escape on time, or even if I would see them all again. There are ... A lot more people than I remember, but many were familiar faces. Niki had grown about a foot since the last time I saw her. Koh has his black hair back and keeps using that old shirt with the Tokugawa's flag. Yuuji continues being the pushover creator of confusion, 'throw him in the fountain', what the hell. Mama Bru has yet lost a single kilogram ... "Huh?"
Chou was standing under a tree next to the fountain, watching the moon in the skies above, the little book she carried with her still open on her hands. “...” Something in the solemn atmosphere around her seemed to make the others back off. "So, huh ..." "Hm?" Yuuji followed my gaze and then turned to me "... What's with Chou? I thought she'd be happier about ending this with everyone alive. " Should I tell him? “...She’s not behaving like herself right now.” Kinda. “Just leave her be for a bit.” I'll have to check out what she wants to ask me soon.
"..."
How long do I still have? Twenty minutes? Ten?
I stopped watching the moonlight to better absorb the scenery around me.
Everything seemed so ... Cold. And heavy. These are houses? Why they need to be so tall? They hope to reach for the sky with them? This small green forest seemed desolate and lonely amid the towers rising around her. I could hear it meekly begging us to let it live.
"...Shh. It's alright. I won't hurt you." I whispered to the tree next to me. It was so young. But it probably will never grow to reach its full splendor on its fifties.
I turned my attention back to the young people running around me, laughing and welcoming the kid with the eyebrow jewelry. The way they interact was occupying so much of my attention that it clouded briefly my ears to the approaching footsteps beside me. "... There is no harm on rejoicing for a victory achieved with effort, much less the return of someone who is dear to us." I commented, while paying attention to the way they took care of the bruises the young red-eye. "But a lot of blood will yet be shed before we have a real reason to celebrate."

"...You alright?" Akinobu walked up with a bored expression next to Itzpapalotl. She seemed to be talking to a tree. He had to confess, this wasn't even part of his top ten strange stuff that happened in the last WEEK. Itzpapalotl seemed to ignore him and continued with what seemed like a monologue, referring to Akira as 'red eyes' or 'red-eye'. He quietly leaned against the nearby tree and shut his eyes. "...Hey, Itzpapalotl... I know this won't mean a lot, coming from a human and all but..." he said and looked towards the moon. "...I'm glad that you're here to help Chou out. She's had a rather... Rough life, even prior to having a deity possessing her and all, what with her family and... Other circumstances," he laughed and took out his Persona card. Itzpapalotl quietly turned her attention to him, then to the card. "...As you might remember, I too, hold the power of Persona. I'm curious what causes them to emerge in the first place..." he said and put away the card in his pocket again.
Chihiro seemed to hang out with the others with a gentle smile on her face. "..." he shut his eyes again and clenched his fists. "...My apologies. You inherit the same body as Chou so I guess you feel what she feels," he said and turned towards Itzpapalotl. He clenched his fist and hit as hard as possible in her stomach, but felt as if he was blocked by pure metal. "...Heh, as I thought. A deity really can't compare to a human," he smiled and looked at his cellphone. "...I'm guessing you'll disappear shortly, huh?" Akinobu said. It was only about three minutes left. "...I'll leave you alone. Still, I realize it might sound rude coming from a human but... Please continue to take care of Chouko," he said and walked back towards the others. A small smile seemed to appear on Itzpapalotl, who mumbled something inaudible behind him.
"...Are you sure this is for the best?" "...We don't have a choice, do we?" "...He's but a child." "Yes. But he also holds the power of Persona as well as being a Furukawa member." "...He could fight me. In our own dimension." "...I see. So he really is the one destined to kill us." "...I'm glad it's him." "Oh? How so? Have you fallen for him?" "Not quite. He just... Have this strange gentleness about him. I can't describe it." "...Remember, he's a Glove. We're both Blades." "I know. It's irritating, but I know." "Come. Let us no longer disturb them. They have the right to relax, for once." "...I know."

...Meldonya. He quietly leaned against the nearby tree and shut his eyes.
"...Hey, Itzpapalotl... I know this won't mean a lot, coming from a human and all but..." he said and looked towards the shining red moon that was slowly regaining it’s white color inch by inch. "...I'm glad that you're here to help Chou out. She's had a rather... Rough life, even prior to having a deity possessing her and all, what with her family and... Other circumstances," he laughed and took out something from his... Garnments. I could sense the presence of a familiar powerful being pulsing inside of it. "...As you might remember, I too, hold the power of Persona. I'm curious what causes them to emerge in the first place..." he said and put it away again.
Emerge.
“… Indeed. It would require a tremendous power to summon me from beyond the seal.” She seemed to be talking out lout rather dialoguing Still… She summoned me. …How? The question intrigued me. Certainly her figure was an appropriate receptacle for my summoning ritual ... She resembled my likeness in my golden years. Our behaviors were similar on several occasions as well... But, her blood showed no link between her and creatures from other plans until recently. She was a perfectly ordinary mortal in every aspect.
*BAM*
“...” I looked down to see a fist moving away from my womb.
"...Heh, as I thought. A deity really can't compare to a human," he smiled and looked at his own small shining box. "...I'm guessing you'll disappear shortly, huh? ...I'll leave you alone. Still, I realize it might sound rude coming from a human but... Please continue to take care of Chouko," he said and walked back towards the others.
A small smile grew on my lips despite myself. I glanced towards the sky again.
"... A few things remain yet untouched."
Another half minute passed, and the sound of footsteps over grass came to my ears again.
“...Hm... Valandil?”
"... Someone is also responsible for Chou having invoked me before." I spoke clearly and slowly when I recognized the voice, watching the small forest around us without moving.
"Well, yes, we came to this conclusion before ..."
"... No, shiny eyebrows." I turned to observe him, watching my tone so to not look aggressive, as that wasn't my intention. "Before I was invoked in this plane, before today's nightfall, someone was responsible for making Chouko become my shaman."
"..." He was silent for a moment. "... I fear have not understood."
"... Yes. I do not suppose you would. There is still much that has not been told to you." I turned my face away, looking at a nearby flowerbed. So beautiful... What are their names? " ... This is not the first time that Chou contacts me. Although at other times my mind and appearance not assumed an acceptable ... Integrity. "
The thoughts that occurred to me when the beast invaded me...
"... I'm still a demon." I admitted, no note of bitterness out of my voice "... This day does little besides bringing back some clarity to my mind. In my natural state, I am a dangerous and angry creature. Sealing me away where I could not hurt anyone was the right decision to make. "
I noticed his jaw was open slightly, stunned "That ..." he began, but paused, looking conflicted. I continued when he made no attempt to continue "... Yet, here I am among the living again. Earlier, I did not think anything about it. Primarily because a clear logic eludes me in my original shape ... And secondly because I felt no strangeness in being summoned once more. It is something that has happened to me thousands of times before, in my divine form. Someone with the means performs the rites to connect me to his or hers earthly body, and that's all. I did not question about who, when or how. " a woman with a purple vest was distributing a dark liquid among others. The smell was bitter and strangely nostalgic ... "... Especially because my shaman had good intentions in mind."
"... No! I- I haven't found my family yet!!"
“...”
* laughter in the background *
"..."
"But, Chou would not have been able to summon me on her own, that's for certain. She has not the knowledge to break my seal to point of being able to bring me to this world ... Despite having the perfect body to do so. And now ... this. "
He brought his hand to temples "... Let me get this straight. Are you suggesting that someone with the means to break your seal ... Someone who also has knowledge of the ancient language ... purposely turned Chou in your shaman as well."
"Precisely.".
"In what scale of magic're talking about now ...?" He cursed quietly, pulling the strands of hair back "There are only a few beings who have the ability to free me ... And they also have their own dates for their earthly rituals of invocation. Undoubtedly the responsible will be in my hunt eventually, if we are not to find him first." I turned to him again. "... You will have to make a journey in search of clues about who broke my seal. And there's only one place to perform the rites for that."
"H-Huh?" his face changed from shock to disbelief slowly "Wait, you mean ..."
"Eldorado."
"... W-wait!" he raised his hand, "...How will know where it is ... No, how will I even go there even so ...! We're talking about a lost civilization that supposedly is on the other side of the wo-...! *cough* *cough* ..." he choked, his throat is still hurting it seems. "..." I bowed my head, imitating my partner of flesh and mind "... As the ancient shamans did you also do eventually ... With the right instruction. From this."
I just gently gave the book I still had in my hands to him.
"... Oh. Could you catch me as well?"
"...H-Huh?"
The world began to spin slowly around me, forming blurs in my vision. A feeling of weakness came over my legs ... I suddenly felt famished. The laughs were slowly disappearing along with the rest of the world.
"My time here is over already..."
I wonder ... Is this how humans feel when they die?
* falls *
"...?"
..." I blinked, my eyelids sticking as if I had slept heavily. I eventually I saw Arashi's face above, amidst a small gathering of people around us.
"Welcome back .... Woah..." the world spun when I turned my head "...I'm dizzy. Guess I'll lay down a little longer." "... It seems that you are suffering from a mild anemia." someone spoke next. That voice ... Doc? "I'm fine ... I just have to eat something. I'm really hungry." "... Yeah. But after you'll rest. " I heard the voice of Akira on my right, but I did not turn my neck. "Let's celebrate today's victory tomorrow. You should sleep. "
"... Right." I said down and I closed my eyes, too tired to think.
"... Thank Chou. I owe you a big one. "
"Good work today. Sleep well. "
"Let's put her in the van slowly ..."
"Hm ... where should we take her? Home? "
“...”
As I drifted into a peaceful dream, a quiet, unknown song filled my ears.
/Chou has left the topic

Akinobu woke up and felt extremely weak. He looked around and saw it being 3 AM in the morning and Chihiro was quietly sleeping next to him. "...Shit," he fell back towards the pillow and looked towards the roof. Mitsune was out of town on a small spa trip she won for two people; she had asked Chihiro to tag along but had refused it, so Yoko had tagged along in her stead. He smiled calmly towards Chihiro and kissed her cheek lightly and grabbed his cellphone. There was just one new text; it was two hours old and from Mitsune. It just said that they had arrived safely. "Damn it... It's been a year since that damn thing happened... Why do I have nightmares about it NOW?" he gritted his teeth irritated. "...Akinobu-nii, is something wrong?" Chihiro asked and woke up sleepily. He smiled gently towards her and shook his head. "Sorry that I woke you, Chi-chan," he said kindly. She smiled weakly and put her head down again, quickly falling back asleep. Akinobu got out of the bed and sent a short message to Mitsune, apologizing for not replying earlier. He explained he was already asleep by that point after a long day at work. He went into the kitchen and looked out through the window. "Just like that time, it's a full moon tonight as well," he said half out-loud and walked over to the fridge and took out a half-drunken Cola. "...The caffeine will probably keep me up more than the actual nightmare will, but..." he opened the bottle, sat down at the table and quietly drank it, thinking back to the past year. "...Come to think of it, it's been a year since I last went to Dark Nikawa*... Well, I don't complain," he said and emptied the bottle, threw it away in a plastic bag and went back to bed and laid down next to Chihiro. "...Akinobu-nii, I'm scared... Please, don't go... I don't want you to die for my sake...*" she mumbled in her sleep. Akinobu quietly hugged her tightly. "...I'm right here, Chi-chan. I don't intend on going anywhere... I promise," he smiled and kissed her gently. Her breathing got lighter again and he smiled quietly at her. "...Sleep well, Chi-chan," he smiled and fell back asleep. The rest of the night was dreamless.
LEFT THREAD, END THREAD
(OoC: This thread takes place about six weeks prior to him re-obtaining Orion. The other one is a reference to the ending of the first Persona story I'm writing. She has a nightmare/flashback of what happens during the end of it.)
